    Default 1/2 45bb KQo MP1

This is a friendly game, max buy in is 100.

    This is 9 handed:

    I raise KQo to 10 (5bb) in MP1
Get 1 caller, who has me covered (i have 90)
Villain is an Asian and is aggressive, for a live game, but not really crazy. Tends to lead Medium strength hands. Can go with his gut, he called 3 streets of bets with Middle pair, where my range was polarized. I have seen him float flops with overs, fairly loose on flop, but in this game most decisions are flopped based due to shallow stacks.

Pot is 23 on flop of 9J7tt
    I lead 15, he calls
    pot is now 53
turn is Q (does not complete flush)
    Hero has 65 behind.......?

    check/jam

edit: or bet/fold with intentions of C/C'ing some rivers. think i prefer bet/fold because i doubt he ever bluff-raises us when we fire two on such a wet board.

You can check/jam or b/c just not folding at any point.

I think b/f is not an option. Even a $40 leaves us with 25 behind, so it is an automatic call.

I shoved. Very dumb? Follow up question?

If i know he will a call a 40 bet but not a 65 bet I should bet 40, then call off the last 15 on river no matter what. It seems dumb, but like best ev play.

in ur accounts... confiscating ur funz
I jam against good players who realize I'm committing myself with a bet and bet 25 against people who are less perceptive.
c/jam can be better if he will float and then play badly - cos you are very unlikely to check with the intention of check/folding here.

The strengh of a hero is defined by the weakness of his villains.

I'm betting more on the flop and calling a shove due to stack sizes and the wet nature of the board.

As played I don't think a shuv on the turn is that bad. What's the biggest problem with low stakes players? They call too much too lite. As mentioned above against someone who thinks even less, you're more likely to get paid betting smaller and getting it in if he raises or on the turn, but against a guy who you know plays a bit loose, I don't think it's too bad. You're not over betting the pot by much.

You did mention that this guy was a little aggressive, so maybe give him the chance to think he can bluff you is ok, but you also mentioned that he is calling down with second pair. Against a player who makes more mistakes if you give him the lead, we bet small or check shuv, but against a player who will also call with a little less and doesn't have to be the aggressor to get it in with speculative holdings, go ahead and keep the lead.
