Default $5R PLO Final Table spot

Early on in the final table. CO I haven't played with, but watching the other table when we were down to 15 players he was playing quite LAG. Had a 200k+ stack but lost most of it gambling against short stacks before the final table.

BB was a bit of a donk. Made a hopeless river bluff once after cbetting a flush draw, checking behind on the turn and then bluffing a straighty card.

This is one of those spots where we fist-pump shove in a heads up pot, but possibly three way there is a real possibility of being crushed between 2pr/set and the nut flush draw.

IPoker, $5 Buy-in (1,500/3,000 blinds) Pot Limit Omaha Tournament, 9 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

    Hero (MP2): 116,641 (38.9 bb)
    MP3: 101,840 (33.9 bb)
    CO: 128,948 (43 bb)
    BTN: 14,644 (4.9 bb)
    SB: 60,384 (20.1 bb)
    BB: 47,430 (15.8 bb)
    UTG+1: 111,619 (37.2 bb)
    UTG+2: 10,978 (3.7 bb)
    MP1: 73,516 (24.5 bb)

    Preflop: Hero is MP2 with T 7 9 8
3 folds, Hero raises to 6,500, MP3 folds, CO calls 6,500, 2 folds, BB calls 3,500

    Flop: (21,000) J 2 8 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets 12,500, CO raises to 40,950, BB calls 40,930 and is all-in, Hero cries and..

The key is more if you win with your straights. I think you can call and see if you make the nuts or fold, don't jam

you still have almost 20% here so I think call is best.

    Here is my thought process.

If we shove, villain may fold a higher, but non-nut, flush draw. Even if he has a/top pair to go with it. He really can't have AAxxss in his range, but I certainly do.

Calling to try to hit a straight on the turn seems iffy since we only have 10 clean outs. Calling and then check/folding a flush also seems bad, since I don't know that this guy wouldn't bet the side pot if he's sitting on 2 pair, despite the flush board. Against the more typical nits I'd like this line.

Calling also puts us in some weird spots when either a blank comes (do we shove hoping he folds a higher Fd? or bare top pair?). What about if it gives us trip 8s?

your read on CO is hard to work with - he's a Lag, he will fold a better FD + pair on this flop getting a huge price, he will also bluff a super scary turn.

I'd continue on straights or an 8 or spades higher than the Js or that give you a FH draw, c/f low spades and most other blanks. I would guess very often you'll be able to show down a flush without putting any more money in.

I think this is an easy fold at this level of betting. Your best hand is the straight or a possible low flush. If the flush hits it is almost certain you are beat by a higher flush. Keep your chips for the next hand.

Yeah I would probably fold. There are a lot of draws out there that are better than yours
