Poker players in the regulated markets of Nevada and New Jersey will get their chance to partake in quite a few July promotional offerings from WSOP.com. Remember that you don’t actually have to live in these two states to open up your WSOP.com account. You can live elsewhere but can only play while physically located within the appropriate state. Some of the offerings this month are valid for only one of the two states served by WSOP. We’ll let you know which promos are valid in which states so that there won’t be any confusion on that score.
Bonuses
There’s nothing quite like cool cash money in your hands. WSOP.com has a couple of bonus promos for the month of July that should pique your interest.
Double Your Deposit: 100% up to $1,000 Welcome and Reload Bonuses
Double the size of your deposit with the Double Your Deposit bonus offer from WSOP. Use the code WSOP2016 if it’s your first-ever deposit at the poker site, and enter the code WSOP2016R if you’re making a reload to your account balance. You’ll then get an amount of bonus dollars matching the value of your deposit up to a maximum of $1,000.
Both of these bonuses will release at the rate of $1 for every 10 Action Player Points earned, but the specific intervals at which they will award bonus payments varies. The WSOP2016R reload will pay out in $10 chunks every time you get 100 APPs.
The WSOP2016 First Deposit Bonus, on the other hand, is awarded in three separate stages:
- The first $10 will pay out in $1 pieces for every 10 APPs
- The next $40 will give you $5 for each 50 APPs you collect

As the flagship product and indeed the series for which WSOP.com was named, it should be no surprise that there are tons of offerings related to the World Series of Poker.
Online Bracelet
With the WSOP Online Bracelet Event, #66 on this year’s schedule, you can compete against your peers over the Internet to win a coveted WSOP gold bracelet. The tournament will begin on July 8 at 1 p.m. PT and will cost $1,000 to enter. Late registration and unlimited reentries will be permitted for four hours.
The final six players will then go to the Rio All Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas to finish the competition on July 11 at 11 a.m.

Little One for One Drop Qualifier
You can gain your entry into the $1,000 + $111 Little One for One Drop tournament for just $10. Qualifiers will run every day through July 13 at 4 p.m. on WSOP.com. The target tournament begins on July 12, but you can still earn your seat after it has already begun because there are three starting days.

25 Seat Scramble
Now that the WSOP Main Event is coming up shortly on July 9, there’s no time to lose if you haven’t yet earned your entry. The 25 Seat Scramble is perfect if you fall into this category because it will award no fewer than 25 $10,000 seats to the Main Event. Running on July 9 at 3 p.m. and costing $200 to enter, this tournament might be a final hope for you to live out your dreams of summer glory.

Leaderboards
Strive against your peers to be one of the top players and score a leaderboard prize. There are a number of leaderboards being run on a weekly basis by WSOP.com. Each leaderboard is divided according to the same July schedule at this online poker site:

SNG Leaderboards
The long-running Sit-n-go leaderboards at WSOP.com are back again in July. Every SNG, except HU or satellites, will award the top 50% of the field with leaderboard points. These points will count towards the appropriate division based upon the buyin of the SNG: Low ($5 and below), medium ($20 and below) or high ($25 and above).
Compete in a single category, or try to place in all three leaderboards. At the end of each week, the top 30 players in each division will split up prizes, including tournament tickets and cash, as follows:
Low: $500
Medium: $1,000
High: $1,500

Heads Up SNG Leaderboards
Those who like to prove themselves against one opponent at a time will do well with the Heads Up SNG Leaderboard, which only counts HU SNG performance. You’ll get one point for every win, and at the end of each week, the top 10 players will divide up $1,000 in tournament tickets.

Mega MTT Leaderboard
The Mega MTT Leaderboard will reward the best 20 MTT players with a share of $2,000 in tournament tickets each week. Every multi-table tournament will count apart from satellites, freerolls, restricted and special tourneys. The top half of the contestants in every MTT will receive points, which will increase the higher the buyin is and the better they place within it.

APP Leaderboard
While you’re accruing APPs at the ring games, SNGs and MTTs on WSOP.com, you have the chance to compete for leaderboard prizes as well. Remember to opt into the promo because participation is not automatic.
The 30 players who have earned the most APPs each week will split up a prize pool consisting of $2,500 in cash. Only players at Silver+ and lower in the rewards program can take advantage of this opportunity.

Fixed Limit Leaderboard
Limit Hold’em often falls by the wayside as people grow excited at the prospect of No-limit action, but WSOP.com remembers how the old-school game was played.
