The Bellagio in Las Vegas is currently hosting the WPT World Championship $25,00 buy-in. This year’s turnout was excellent with 220 players versus 195 last year. The total prize pool for the event comes to $5,309,500.

After six days of play the final table is set. The last six players chip counts are as follows:

1    Galen Hall    5,095,000
2    Justin Young    1,750,000
3    Tony Gargano    3,550,000
4    Roger Teska    3,600,000

Galen Hall is the current chip leader sitting with 5,095,000 in chips. Seems that Hall can’t get enough, all he does is win. Whoever wins this final table will will $1,618,344.

But it won’t be easy. Second in chips is the always dangerous Scott Seiver. Seiver has over $2 Million in lifetime winnings live, 1 WSOP bracelet, plus substantial online winnings. Seiver is close in second with 5,075,000 in chips.

Four more poker pros round out the final table, Justin Young with almost $3 Million in lifetime winnings, Freddy Bonyadi with over $2.4 Million in live winnings, Michigan native Tony Gargano who has over 1.6 Million in wins, and California grinder Tony Gargano. There is tons of play left in this tournament. Tonight we’ll see who plays good, runs good, and wins the $1.6 Million!

Play resumes tonight at 4 PDT. Check back to tomorrow to find out who is the new WPT World Championship 2011 winner!
