Another successful weekend of online poker tournaments is in the books. This past Sunday was highlighted by the finale of the PokerStars Turbo Championship of Online Poker, a new series that is comprised mainly of fast-paced tournaments. The Main Event, a $1,500,000 guarantee, nearly hit the $2.5M mark as more than 3,300 players signed up. PokerStars alone had a big day, with the Sunday Million having a strong showing itself. All in all, there were more than $6,000,000 in play on Stars alone between the TCOOP events, Sunday Million, and Sunday500.
Party and iPoker continue to put on strong Sunday showings, as each site’s $200k guarantee surpassed its guarantee. The Party Poker $200k actually hit the $300,000 prize pool mark, which must make players wonder when the guarantee will be raised. All of the results for the major events can be found below.
