The first US regulated Online Poker provider, Ultimate Poker is going to be working with Trump Entertainment Resorts to provide Online Poker to New Jersey residents.

Ultimate Gaming, the owners of Ultimate Poker, have signed a deal with Trump Taj Mahal Associates to not only launch Online Poker, but other online gaming platforms as they are developed.

Ultimate Gaming is looking to be the first Online Provider to be regulated by two US gaming bodies, and this appears to have got the blood pumping in the Ultimate Gaming offices. Ultimate Gaming’s Chairman Tom Breitling said “Today we are excited to be entering into an agreement with Trump Taj Mahal Associates to bring online gaming to New Jersey. This represents a huge step forward in our desire to offer Americans across the nation the opportunity to enjoy safe and regulated online games.”

With the expected high traffic putting a large load on any technology used to provide Online Gaming, Ultimate were keen to point out that they have every confidence in their software:

“We feel our technology is a major advantage,” said Tobin Prior, Chief Executive Officer of Ultimate Gaming.  “Our proprietary software has been proven to meet regulatory requirements and allows for continuous investment and product development. The technology was acquired in 2011 and developed by a U.S. based company with a completely clean regulatory profile.”

Ultimate has had the Nevada Online Poker world to itself since it launched in April, but with the impending launch of the WSOP software they are soon to have company in the market. To that end, Ultimate have retained the services of the biggest money winner in poker, Antonio Esfandiari, who has been proudly showing his affiliations with the company during the WSOP.

Trump Entertainment Resorts inc’s CEO, Robert F. Griffin seemed to be very happy with the deal. “Ultimate Gaming is a pioneer in the online gaming space and can provide a turnkey solution for our online gaming needs in New Jersey,” He said “We are delighted to be working with a trusted partner that has a proven track record.”

This deal is only for the Taj Mahal brand, and the other Trump Casino in New Jersey, The Plaza, may be looking for another brand to work with. Expert opinions I’ve come across have estimated that Ultimate could be up and running by the end of the year in New Jersey, subject to no issues arising.
