Gauntlet TrophyFlopTurnRiver Gauntlet X Game #8

This Sunday is the 8th game of the FlopTurnRiver Gauntlet online poker league, and with only 3 games to go we’re getting close to crowning a champion!

The current leader is Xianti, who has not only played all 7 games so far but racked up a massive 172.3 points. In second is me, Pascal, with 157.5, followed closely in 3rd by The Bean Counter. Several other players are in close contention but with only the top 3 paid ($120, $60 and an FTR t-shirt respectively, all added by FTR) it’s going to go right to the wire!

This week is 6-max, and everyone is welcome. With 10,000 chips to start and 5 minute blinds, we’ve found a good medium between deepstack poker and a tournament that won’t take all night. Anyone with 35 posts or more on our forum gets automatic entry so why not join in and have some fun?

Congratulations to our winners!

Last week we had two amazing value tournaments – one for global players and one for US players. First, congratulations to “ddomo” – he bested a tiny field of 42 players to not only win over $150 but also a $700 Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure ticket! Thanks to Pokerstars for putting on such a great event, and thanks to everyone who played.

Secondly, congratulations to MadMojoMonkey for taking down our FTR Monthly Special at Bovada. Despite having just 12 runners, nearly $500 was added to the prizepool. MMM is one of our regular strategy posters and he played excellently to win $168 and a $38.50 tournament ticket – congratulations!

If you’re interested in taking part, you’ll need to become a Qualified Member. This tournament runs next on the 14th of December, so you’ve got plenty of time!
