A brand-new series of poker events are set to hit the Far East with the help of PokerStars as the proud sponsor. The Japan Poker Tour is to be a series of big-money poker events in Japan. To celebrate, PokerStars is giving its players a chance to win a seet to the Asia Pacific Poker Tour, or APPT, Macau event for free.
Players looking to win a seat to APPT Macau can play any of the PokerStars online qualifiers. These qualifiers give players a chance to win a seat to the live JPT: APPT Macau Finals. The winner of the APPT Macau Finals wins a prize package that includes hotel accommodations, the HKD $30,000 Main Event buy-in, and more!
The online qualifiers end on October 22nd. There will be one large freeroll played on October 15 at 10:30 ET that grants the winner a JPT: APPT Macau Finals seat and $200. Every day until October 22nd, a Stage 1 free buy-in tournament will be played giving the top 10 finishers a Stage 2 qualifier seat. Stage 2 qualifiers cost $1.10 to enter directly, run daily, and, for every $11 in the prize pool, one Stage 3 qualifier seat will be given away. Stage 3 qualifiers will be played each Saturday until October 22nd, will cost $11 to enter directly, and will give the top three finishers JPT: APPT Macau Final seats and $200.
