Over 45,000 players registered for the MiniFTOPS XIX Main Event. This tournament was multi-entry so entrants could purchase multiple $75 entries and increase their chances of cashing. The prize pool ballooned to a whopping $3.2 million. Poker pros and amateurs brought their “A Game” to the tables as they stared at the $450,000 top prize.

Full Tilt Red Pro Andy Bloch hosted the MiniFTOPS XIX Main Event. Bloch is probably best known for his runner-up finish to Chip Reese in the 2006 WSOP $50k Horse Event. He has amassed over $4 million in winnings through live poker tournaments. Bloch holds two degrees from MIT and a JD from Harvard Law. Unfortunately, Bloch’s six entries failed to make the money in the MiniFTOPS Main Event.

Besides Bloch, Team Full Tilt Poker was represented well. The MiniFTOPS Main Event attracted Red Pros like Allen Cunningham, Annette_15, Taylor Caby, and Phil Gordon. Damian Salas, an Argentinan pro, outlasted all of the pros before exiting in 136th position.

In the end, two players, KOMIJENDO and Demon1531 struck a deal during heads-up play. The chop gave KOMIJENDO over $396,000 and Demon1531 walked away with nearly $361,000.

Congratulations to all the players who participated in MiniFTOPS XIX!
