It’s the most wonderful time of year: the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) is in full swing! If you’re not in the middle of a WCOOP event, tune in to PokerStars.tv. PokerStars.tv is showing cards for final table highlights from all 13 of the biggest WCOOP events. Nick Weathall and David Tuckman are providing commentary for the 2011 recaps, and the highlight reels with 2010’s best moments.

If you’re waiting to get in on the $30,000,000 guaranteed (yes, that’s $30 million), PokerStars is making it extra easy this year with last-minute satellite qualifiers for same-day events. Tonight, a 5 seats guaranteed satellite for Event 36 begins at 21:55 ET. From the PokerStars lobby, navigate to Events > WCOOP > Cash Satelites to see a listing to get in on the remaining events.

To hype up all the excitement of this year’s WCOOP, PokerStars is broadcasting a live radio show every night airing in four languages (English, Spanish, Russian, German). Running until September 27, the show invites listeners to call in and talk about the tournaments, big names making deep runs, share opinions on the tournaments as they happen, and participate in daily freerolls and prize competitions. The show will give away $50k before the WCOOP is over. Nick Wealthall and Joe Stapleton, the host from The Big Game, are hosting the English version of the show, which broadcasts at 21.30 CET.

With a total of 62 events, and a $5,200 Main Event with a guaranteed $5 million prize pool still waiting to be played, you won’t want to miss the exciting second half of the 2011 WCOOP. Tune in daily to Radio WCOOP on the FlopTurnRiver.com homepage, and check back in the Poker News section for WCOOP recaps.
