Full Tilt Poker has released the schedule for FTOPS XX, which looks to be one of the biggest FTOPS to date in terms of guaranteed money. The series will run from April 17th until May 1st and will have tournament fans watching their calendars.
Full Tilt Poker’s Full Tilt Online Poker Series is one of the most popular poker tournament series on the internet. The series started in August of 2006 with eight events and $1 million in guaranteed money. This FTOPS will feature 45 events and has a combined guaranteed cash pool of over $38 million!
Full Tilt will be starting the series off big with a $3 million guaranteed $200+$16 No Limit Hold’em Multi-Entry event. Overall, FTOPS XX will have 13 events with $1 million or more in guaranteed prize money. Included are the two-day event, which features two days of play and a $2.5 million prize pool and the popular $10,000+$300 heads up event with a $1 million prize pool, which is always a hit with some of the popular heads-up players. FTOPS XX will also be running Rush Poker tournaments and multi-entry tournaments, like the previous FTOPS.
The FTOPS Main Event will round out the series once again. This time the event will boast a staggering $7.5 million guaranteed. The winner of this tournament will surely become an instant millionaire overnight.
Players can buy in directly to these tournaments or qualify through satellite tournaments. Players can qualify at a fraction of the price through Steps tournaments. Step 5 Tickets can be used for any $200 + $16 FTOPS event. Step 6 Tickets are good for the $600 + $40 Main Event. Step 7 Ticket gets you a seat in the $2,000 + $100 Two-Day Event.
