Earlier this week, ESPN announced when it will air coverage of this year’s World Series of Poker.  The network also confirmed that Lon McEachern and Norman Chad will again exercise their knowledge and good humor while providing commentary for ESPN.

In addition to its exhaustive coverage of the Main Event, ESPN has added two new events to its broadcast schedule.  The network will start its WSOP coverage with The Big One for One Drop on Tuesday, July 3.  The final show related to this event is scheduled to air at 9pm on Tuesday, July 31.  ESPN has also dedicated two, one-hour episodes to the WSOP National Championship this year.  These episodes are scheduled to be shown back-to-back beginning at 8pm on Tuesday, August 7.

ESPN begins its coverage of the Main Event on Tuesday, August 14.  Back-to-back episodes dedicated to the Main Event are scheduled to air every Tuesday at 8pm and 9pm beginning on August 14 through September 25, with one exception.  During the week beginning Monday, September 3, ESPN will televise its Main Event coverage on Wednesday, September 5.

Beginning on Tuesday, October 2, ESPN will air its consecutive episodes of Main Event coverage beginning at 9pm.  Coverage continues every Tuesday with shows at 9pm and 10pm through October 23.  ESPN will cover the Main Event’s final table beginning at 9pm on Tuesday, October 30.
