The final event of FullTilt’s Online Poker Series, or FTOPS has just finished. 5,287 player entered the $500+$35 Main Event, creating an enormous $2,643,500 prize pool. Most of the world’s best online and live tournament professionals were on hand vying for a first place check of $456,056. FullTilt was well represented, as 67 of its own “Red Pros” participated in the event, with five making the money.
Each FTOPS Event has its own host, and the Main Event’s host was no slouch. Juanda has three WSOP bracelets to his name and a victory in the 2008 World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event. His WSOP bracelets, in PLO, 2-7TD, and Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo show he is a student of all poker games. Juanda has appeared numerous times on million dollar cash games and High Stakes Poker.
Entering the final table as one of the chip leaders was “csimmsux” who won FTOPS Event #17 last year for over $488,000. Immediately to his left was another player sporting an FTOPS Gold Jersey.
