U.S. players may not be able to play on Full Tilt Poker, but that didn’t stop 657 players from putting up the $300+$22 to play in FTOPS XX Event 32, a No Limit Hold’em freezeout with $100,000 guaranteed. The amount of players pushed the total prize pool to $197,100.

Only five Full Tilt Poker red pros competed in Event 32. Of the five pros that competed, only Mike McDonald was able to make the money. McDonald is a successful Canadian tournament player and is the youngest player to win a European Poker Tour event. As of February 2010, McDonald had over $2,100,000 in tournament earnings.

The man of the hour, though, was a player named Betong. Already having won over $89,000 by finishing 2nd in a $750,000 guaranteed event in 2010, Betong added to his tournament winnings by finishing first in Event 32 and winning $48,289.50.
