Definition
A live bet is a bet posted by a player in which he has the option to check, call, or raise when the action come around to him. This is often seen when players post their blinds or a "live" straddle.
Example
A straddle is a form of a live bet; the big blind no longer has the option to raise as it is given to the straddler.
