Definition
A fouled hand is considered invalid due to some technicality (invalid deck, cards on floor, etc.). This is synonymous with dead hand.
Example
The shuffler miscounted the number of cards in the deck. After the deck was discovered to be missing a card, the hand was considered a fouled hand.
