Definition

Altering your decisions/play based on factors about your opponent’s tendencies. A common adjustment would be tightening up in the face of a very aggressive opponent, waiting for a strong hand then busting them.

Example

I found a table full of fish, all I had to do was adjust to their bad play and I made tons of money.
