Definition
This is a hand that has no pair, trips, straight, or flush – so its only value is high card value. High card Ace is better than high card K. Example AsKhJd8s6c. Not a very good hand, but good enough sometimes.
Example
At showdown Hero turns over A5o on a board of 789J3 expecting to lose only to see his opponent turn over K6. Hero wins with ace high!
