Tower Gaming.com Overview
Tower Gaming is part of the Cake Network, having recently switched over from Ongame. They feature extremely generous deposit bonuses and very good player points bonuses (which end up being better than the rakeback) they offer. Unfortunately, Cake does not accept American players, which leaves out a sizable amount of the online playing populace.
Payment options are sufficient for the non-US player, who will be familiar with NETELLER, Click2Pay, Webmoney, ukash, Visa, Mastercardm and Moneybookers. The ePassporte is not supported, but this is understandable considering that ePassporte is mainly a US payment processor.
Tower Gaming hosts a variety of games that will keep the online poker player satisfied. They offer Texas Hold'em (Fixed, Pot, and No-limit), Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo, and 5 Card Draw. They have Limit, Pot-limit, and No-limit cash games as well as tournaments and Sit & Goes based on those various betting structures.
Tower offers a variety of very nice tournaments. Right now they have freerolls starting hourly. These only offer a pot of $15 or $20 but not many players enter them, so a skilled player could win a few in one day! All-in-all, they give away $37,000 per month in freerolls. They also have popular Turbos starting at $1+$.20 and high-stakes tournament events going up to $1,000+$40 - all with players registering. Tower hosts over $15 million in guaranteed tournaments each month.
Their Sit & Gos are equally well done. They have a nice feature where you can choose between Full Table, Shorthanded, Heads Up, Qualifiers, and Specials. Popular Turbos start with a buy-in of $1+$.20 and go all the way up to $30 + $3. Thanks to the very nice Sit & Go variations, there are loads of tournaments running at any one time. Even off peak there are over 1000 people spread out over the various SNGs.
Players are rewarded with Player Points. These can be used in exchange for tickets into tournaments and, even better, for cash bonuses. The more points you accumulate, the higher you climb in Tower's VIP Club and the better the bonus you can exchange. Cash game players will earn 3.25 Player Points for each dollar they contribute in rake. Tournament players will accumulate 5 Player Points for every dollar they spend in tournament fees.
Players can earn fractions of player points. To illustrate, in a cash game if you contribute $0.60 to the rake, you will receive 1.95 Player Points (0.6 * 3.25). This same principle applies to tournament players. Enter a $5+$0.50 tournament and you will be credited with 2.5 Player Points (0.5 * 5).
Climbing the VIP ladder isn't the only thing you can do with accumulated points. Tower also gives out $90,000 per month in point races. Plus, challenges that were once exclusive to higher VIP levels are now open to anyone. Those challenges include the Royal Flush Reward, the daily Players Points Challenge, and the monthly $5,000 Hand Challenge.
Another exciting change at Tower is the increased frequency of the ever-popular Tower Hours. They now take place each week. Tower deems their Tower Hour "the most profitable hour in online poker!" They run a selection of promotions and the schedule for the upcoming week can be seen on the Tower Poker website. For example, there is a Flush promotion which gives you the chance to win 5, 50, or 100 times the big blind if you catch an Ace-High, Straight, or Royal flush.
TowerPoker Software Interface/Usability
The first thing you'll notice about the Tower Gaming software is its looks. They have obviously spent a large amount of time coming up with a client that is easy on the eye. It also seems pretty functional, with table lists and betting buttons working as you'd expect. One issue was the software's reaction time. When you're cycling through lists or trying to sort tables the program can be a little slow to respond.
If you need to top-up your stack at TowerPoker, it's a pretty simple process to reload. There is a button on the bottom left of the table view which you can click to bring up the reloading menu. Unfortunately you have to sit out to perform this process, so there's the possibility that you might miss a few hands. Also, if your account is empty and you need to redeposit, then you'll need to leave the table and enter the Cashier.
Tower's software is arranged quite nicely. With their note taking system, you can assign different colors to different opponents. The "auto post" and "wait for BB" options are tucked away in the usual place at the bottom right of the table view. You also have the option to resize tables to any size you like, which assists in multi-tabling if you have a small monitor.
Another cool feature is that they have a lightweight client written in Java which allows people to instantly play any time where the full software program isn't installed. And since it is written in Java, you can play on a Mac or Linux box.
Tower Gaming.com Poker Room Action
As a member of the Cake network, the action is very good at Tower Gaming for Limit and No-limit Hold'em games up to the mid-stakes. The high-stakes games do not run very often. There are plenty of Omaha games up to the $1 - $2 level, but very few games to be found above that. This is probably due do the fact that Tower Gaming does not accept US players, which limits its player base. Still, there should be enough action to satisfy most low to mid stakes players, with plenty of money still to be made.
Tower Poker's Ease of Game, Ease of Making Money, Fish Rating
The players at Tower Gaming are, on average, very poor compared to a lot of other sites. Despite Tower Poker's clean and (frankly) beautiful graphics, they will never be able to compensate for the lack of US Players. The big sites that still accept US customers are likely to attract most of the quality players. Recently, the players have wised up and are playing tighter and living off the Tower Gaming rewards system. Simply table select and you can find some fish to fleece. Don't be surprised if the tables are tight during peak hours though.

Tower Gaming.com Customer and Technical Support
The support experience with Tower Gaming was a mixed one. On the one hand they have an interesting email setup where you do not have to look for their email address. You simply hit the support button in the Lobby and it takes you directly to a message box that you just send through their website. They respond later to the email address you provide. Unfortunately, we sent them a lot of questions and quite a long time later they had not responded. Some sites pride themselves on very prompt responses, others do not. This room is an “other.”
While they claim to have a Live Support option the button was disabled, thus leaving only the email option. We did not notice a list of support telephone numbers in any obvious place either.
Although their Live Chat is non-functional and their email slow to respond, they do have the right idea when it comes to FAQs. TowerGaming provides one of the most comprehensive and well laid out FAQs we have ever seen on a poker site. You'll likely find that most of your problems can be solved without needing to use the email or live chat.

I love this room the support is great. I
think this is the best looking site on
the Ongame network. They don't have 5x
but they do have some great first time

I tried Tower for the bonus, which is
really good. However, I didn't like
the interface, I don't know if it was
my internet connection or their
software, but I had a lot of
connectivity related issues or
something. Customer support was
surprisingly good, most poker rooms suck
in this area. Decent place to play for
Ongame network.
