World 3D Poker is a part of its own independent poker network. It is important to note that due to the legislation in the United States they currently do NOT accept US customers. If you reside in the US you can create a guest account for play money only.

is one of the newer poker rooms online today. Along with some other newer rooms, they are trying to take online poker to the next level. They have created a complete 3D environment attempting to allow you to “fully immerse yourself in the new online gambling world.” With custom character creation, different camera angles, and other special features, you would think World 3D Poker would be a great experience; but it’s not.

Currently, the only game offered at World 3D Poker is limit, pot-limit, and no-limit Hold’em. Quite simply, there is just no one playing! At times I saw only one real money table playing, and the most people I ever saw playing was 35. (The most I saw connected was around 100, but well over half was playing with play money.) Of this very small number of players, they were all playing micro limits, and nothing over $.5 - $1. I had asked their support for an average number of players connected, but they were unable to supply me with one.

The same can be said for Sit & Gos, there are none running! Once I saw one $1 + $.10 heads up tournament in progress, but nothing else. Do not expect to be able to get a tournament running.

As expected, the Multi-Table Tournament traffic is the same at . I was baffled when I saw a $5 + $.50 tournament running; with 3 entrants! Almost every tournament that was announced was canceled because no one would register for it.

One good thing that can be said about World 3D Poker is their freerolls. Everyday, they are giving away $1000 in freeroll money with three $200 and four $100 freerolls starting every 3 hours. Why is this a good thing? Simply because of the lack of participation. Most of these freerolls only host 100 players, and sometimes even as low as 50! I have never seen a better freeroll opportunity before because most other rooms have fields of thousands of players to compete for the same amount of money. As you can expect, almost everyone that plays in these are a total fish as well, so you can really cash in on some very easy money.

Currently, offers only a few methods to deposit; Click2Pay, Neteller, and Visa/MasterCard.

is a complete 3D environment aiming to enhance your online play. As stated on their website, “WORLD3DPOKER allows you, the player, to interact in a way never dreamed possible before. Design and create your own character, play at different tables and fully emmerse yourself in the new online gambling world.” However, there are some flaws that they need to work out.

Their lobby is very plain, but well organized. Everything is sorted by tabs, and under the Lobby tab you can check your balance, bonuses, and also change your characters appearance and certain table options. At World 3D Poker, you can create your own player and fully customize everything from his (or her) hair, to his clothes, to even his shoes. Currently, there are not too many options to choose from, but you can still bet on your character being unique. The only table options you can adjust is a four color deck, resolution (800 x 600 up to fullscreen mode), and disabling the annoying music and background noise (thankfully!)

Under the Games tab you will find real money ring and tournament games. The only game offered is Hold’em, so you don’t need to worry about sorting between games. When you join a table, it is brought up in a tab rather than a new window. I find this to be a very terrible idea, and could not find an option to change this. You can play up to 4 tables at once, but you will not be able to look at more than one simultaneously! This makes multi-tabling next to impossible as you can not follow the action at all. This alone makes the software unplayable for any serious online multi-tabler.

While at the table, World3DPoker attempts to make it as real of a casino-like experience as possible. They do this by having varying camera views, everything in 3D, and background noise that sounds like what you would hear playing in a casino. You can slightly adjust the view of the table, or zoom in by pressing on a player’s avatar. Action is fairly easy to follow, and a timer shows up on a player whose turn it is to act (each player has a 20 second time bank.)

I noticed some serious problems while playing at World 3D Poker. The software would randomly crash at times, lockup, and sometimes was so choppy I could not follow any action. You do need a pretty decent computer to run it (which I do) and their support said they are working on fixing these errors. Although most of the time the software ran fine, just the fact that these problems can occur is very bad when real money is on the line.

Hand histories are not available at all at World 3D Poker. That’s right; you can not view or save them to your computer. I contacted support to see if you could even have them request via e-mail and was informed that the only way to currently review your HHs was to look at the table chat (which can not be copied or pasted.) This is a big let down, I have not heard of any other online poker room that did not have hand histories.

Action? What action? With only an average player base of 0-25 you can’t expect any action in real money games. The most tables I saw active was 5, and never saw more than 1 heads up sit and go running at any time. The best way to get action at World3DPoker is to participate in their freerolls, which in my opinion, are the only good thing this room has to offer.

Support at World3DPoker was terrible. I had sent many e-mails, which never received answers. Also, I used their live chat feature more than once and many times the window would randomly disconnect me. When speaking to the representatives it was clear that they were not very knowledgeable about the poker room. If you dare contact them, you can via live chat (either built in to their software or on their website), e-mail, or phone:

E-mail: support@world3dpoker.com
Phone: 1-800-350-6584

If you decide to try World 3D Poker for the freerolls (or just out of curiosity) follow this golden rule; everyone is a fish unless proven otherwise. Most people are just trying out the new 3D software and do not have any competent Hold’em skills at all.

offered one of the most unique bonuses I have seen today. They offer a “step bonus” where you can earn up to $1000, for as little as a $20 deposit. When you play real money cash tables, you will earn 1 point for every $.01 in rake that you pay. Earning a certain amount of points in a 4 month period moves you up to the next “step.” Here are all of the steps:

4,000 Points = $20 bonus
6,000 Points = $30 bonus
10,000 Points = $50 bonus
80,000 Points = $400 bonus
100,000 Points = $500 bonus
200,000 Points = $1000 bonus

For example: You deposit $20 and earn 4000 points in 2 weeks. This will earn you a $20 bonus. You keep playing and earn 2000 more points, for 6000 total points, which will earn you $10 more for a total of $30. You have 4 months from your deposit to keep moving up in levels to earn a total of $1000.

I haven’t seen a bonus offered like this before, and seems like it would be a good idea, however there is just not enough traffic to make it worthwhile. Tournament fees do not earn you any points and there are never enough tables to earn your points.

Very nice site for a good game of Texasholdem. Site developing over time. I really like the interface and the multitable function that rises my payoffs!
