is a skin off of the Absolute Poker network. Because of this, you can expect to see a lot of traffic being that Absolute still accepts US players. During the evenings in EST you can expect to see more than 20,000 connected – so finding a game for your limit shouldn’t be too hard!
Vegas Poker 247 has the basic games you will find on any other poker site; limit, pot-limit, and no-limit Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo, and Razz. The best thing that I noticed at Vegas Poker 247 was the wide variety of limits that people were playing. There micro, mid, and even high stakes always had at least 5 tables running – more so for the lower limits. I also noticed that there were more people playing games other than Hold’em (Omaha, Stud, and Razz) on Vegas Poker 247 compared to other competing sites. If you are interested in working on your total poker game and expanding past just Hold’em, Vegas Poker 247 would be a great choice.
Sit & Go play is mainly dominated by the low buyin tournaments. There were always multiple tournaments running with buyins less than $55. There also were a few steady SnGs running during the peak hours over $55. One of the features I enjoyed the most was being able to create your own Sit & Go or Multi-Table Tournament. Few sites offer this and it is fun to be able to play with just your friends.
Multi-Table Tournament play has some nice traffic at Vegas Poker 247. Everyday they have various guaranteed tournaments ranging from $500 (just $1 buyin!) up to $9000 ($25 buyin). The lobby for is very straight forward. You can easily find whatever game, limit, or tournament you would like to play in. The tabs at the top of the lobby make locating and sorting easy. You can find play on whatever kind of table you feel most comfortable; 9-max, 6-max or even heads up are available for most limits.
While playing, it is important to note that Vegas Poker 247 has many different features and functions you can enable to make your play that much easier. While at the tables, you will notice on the dealer tray it says “Options” in a very large font. If you click on this, you can change the table to suit you better. You can setup hot keys, bet amounts, change the deck color, and select a preferred seat that you will always sit in. Players can also customize their avatars by uploading an image, which is helpful for me remembering players.
The hotkey feature is fairly nice for multi-tabling, however I would think it would apply more to limit rather than no-limit. If enabled, here is what the hot keys will do for you:
• F1: Fold
• F2: Check
• F3: Bet
• F4: Call
• F5: Raise
• F6: Double Raise
• F7: Double Bet
• F8: All In
• F9: Bring In
One more exciting feature is the ability of a rabbit cam. Admit it, whenever you fold that flush draw you want to know if it was coming or not! If enabled, you can see the turn or river after you fold. Although this is a fun feature to use, just remember to not be results oriented!
Vegas Poker 247 offers instant hand histories right at the table. If you click on the last hand (displayed in the upper right hand corner) you will be taken to the last hands you have played in this session. It is always nice when sites offer this feature for instant review of your play. Also, you can chose to save your hand histories to your local computer. Because Vegas Poker 247 is a part of the Absolute network, you can count on programs like Poker Tracker or Poker Office to work with it.

Vegas Poker 247 is full of action! As stated earlier, this site was one of the most spread out stake wise that I found. Regardless of your bankroll, finding a game will not be hard. Also, one thing to note was the amount of people playing games other than Hold’em was above average. This would be a great site to expand your game.

Vegas Poker 247’s support was so-so. They have an e-mail address or a form you can fill out on their website, but are rather slow with replying. On the website they say they will answer all questions within 48 hours and in today’s age I find that to be too long. There are many other sites with a larger player base that answer all inquiries within the hour. It would be nice for them to add a live chat feature or offer phone support, but currently only offer e-mail:

Vegas Poker 247's Ease of Game, Ease of Making Money, Fish Rating
Vegas Poker 247 is average when it comes to fish. While playing low-mid stakes you can count on at least half the table being complete whales. Just having some basic knowledge of poker is enough to beat these games. I think Vegas Poker 247 is a great site for beginners looking to improve because you will not find many tricky or advanced players at most limits. It I also a great site for veterans because of the bonus and reloads that they offer (more below).

Vegas Poker 247 offers many deposit and reload bonuses. Each one requires a different Referral/Promtional code so make sure to check their website for complete details. Their most popular Promotional Code currently is the 100% up to $500, which requires Promotional Code VP500. In order to earn this bonus, you need to earn points from playing at the games. Every 75 points you earn will net you $10. Here is they explain the points are earned at Vegas Poker 247:
“For each raked hand (minimum rake of $0.50) you play (you must see the flop) you will receive 1 point, and you will receive 1 point for each $1 of tournament buy-in fee.”
So in order to earn the full $500 bonus, you need to earn a total of 3750 VPRs (Vegas Poker Rewards). As you can see, this is a very slow bonus. The fact you must see a flop in order to earn points makes it that much longer. Also, this is about the worst bonus I have seen if you’re a tournament player. Most other bonuses give 4 or 5 points for every $1 in tournament fees. If you’re a Sit & Go player I would stay away because you would need to pay $3750 in fees just to clear! This bonus expires 60 days after the deposit.
