Tower Gaming.com Review
is part of the OnGame network and is one of the more popular choices among skins on this network because of their extremely generous deposit bonuses (clears at 5x) and very good player points bonuses (which end up being better than rakeback). Unfortunately, the OnGame network does not allow US players, and Tower is no exception. They are regulated by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission so you can be rest assured that your money is as safe as any other reputable online poker room. They also have a Class 1 Maltese Gaming License.
Payment options are sufficient for the non-US player. All non-US players will have a NETELLER, Click2Pay, or moneybookers account, so they are taking care of all of their customers by providing them with the most popular options. ePassporte is not supported, but this is understandable considering that ePassporte is mainly a US-only payment processor.
Tower Gaming hosts a variety a games that will keep the online poker player satisfied. They spread Texas Hold'em, Omaha High, Omaha/8, 7 Card Stud, and 5 Card Draw. There are limit, pot limit, no limit cash games as well as tournaments and sit&gos based on the various betting structures.
Players are rewarded with Player Points. Players can use these points and exchange them for tickets into tournaments, and even better, for cash bonuses. The more points you accumulate, the better bonus you can exchange. For example, the clearing rate for the "worst" bonus is 10 points per $1, whereas the "best" bonus clears at 7 points per $1.

TowerPoker Software Interface/Usability
My initial impression of the software at was that it was really good looking. My second impression was that it did not "feel" right. For whatever reason, I had no clue why I couldn't tell the difference between calling and checking, and when I was calling I felt information was missing. After playing a little while longer I figured out why I felt uncomfortable. Unlike other sites, which changes the text on the button to display "Call $8", it is always "Call." Underneath is very small font which displays the actual amount that you need to call, along with the pot size. It took some getting used to, but this is one of those small things which make huge differences in playability.
Another annoyance is reloading. It took me a good chunk of time to figure out how to reload. There is a cashier button on the bottom left, but it is disabled. The only way you can reload is to sit out, then select cashier, and the amount extra to buy in. It is unacceptable to take this many steps to reload, and that doesn't take into account the possibility of accidentally sitting out for a hand.
Despite these downfalls, I found the software to be easy on the eyes and in general the interface was very clean. The note taking system is pretty good, and you can assign different colors to different opponents. The "auto post" and "wait for BB" options are actually hidden away in a context menu (right-click), which I'm still undecided on whether this is a good idea or not. Good in that it keeps the interface clean, bad in that the industry standard is to have them on the table. Another nice feature is the mini-view, which shrinks the table. This is nice for multi-tabling if you have a small monitor, and the picture above shows the actual size of this mini view.
Another cool feature is that they have a lightweight client written in Java which allows people to instantly play any time where the full problem isn't installed. And since it is written in Java, you can play on a Mac or Linux box.

Tower Gaming.com Poker Room Action
Being part of the OnGame network, the action is very good for limit and no limit hold'em games up to the mid stakes. The high stakes games do not run very often. There are plenty of Omaha games at the $25 level but very few games are found above that. This is probably due do the fact that does not accept US players, which limits its player base.

Tower Poker's Ease of Game, Ease of Making Money, Fish Rating
The players at on average are very poor compared to other sites that allow US players. This may be because the site just has poorer players, or because the blind structure is unique in the industry. The small blind and the big blind are the same here. Because of this, many players do not know how to adjust properly and end up playing too loose or too tight.

Player points are calculated based on the amount of rake taken. The rate of conversion is 0.1 points for $0.10 of rake contributed by the table. The rake is dealt-calculated, which means that the rake is split evenly among everyone at the table. For example, if $1 was raked from a hand and there are 10 players, then all players will receive 1 point, even though on average they all contributed $0.10 in rake. The maximum amount of rake that can be taken from a hand is $3, so the maximum amount of player points you can get from a single hand is 3. The points round down, so if the pot was raked $0.19, you will get 0.1 points and not 0.2.
For tournaments, 5 points are awarded per $1 in tournament fees.
