Titan Poker.com Overview
is a skin of the iPoker network, meaning they share the same players as VC Poker, Fair Poker and other iPoker sites. And unfortunately they do not accept US players. They use Playtech’s industry leading software and you can really tell because the rooms look great. However, these excellent graphics come at a price because they demand a lot of bandwidth. This results in Titan Poker disconnecting often, even when your connection seems to be working fine.
The site offers Texas Hold’em (Limit, No-limit, and Pot-limit), Omaha (Limit and Pot-limit), Omaha Hi/Lo (Limit and Pot-limit), and 7/5 Card Stud. They also offer all of these as Heads-up games from $.02/$.04 up to $300/$600, as well as Sit & Gos from $0.10 + $0.02 up to $5,000+$200. Lots of tournaments are scheduled although some of their guarantees may overlap. Titan Poker also turns your first deposit into free entry tokens to their $20,000 New Depositors Freeroll! There are often players who sign up for the tournament but forget to play it, which can turn out to be a easy money-making gem for those that do.
Sit & Go tournaments at Titan Poker have lots of players in them. They also offer a lot of action with buy-ins ranging from $0.10 + $0.02 up to $0,000 + $200. The last time we looked, we would estimate that at least 300 people were playing or about to play. These are pretty good numbers as a lot of sites have empty tables all over the place, but still pale in comparison to the bigger sites. The action is pretty much evenly distributed over their Heads-up, Beginners, and Jackpot games, however the Satellite room will leave you wanting. They do not have micro stakes, but with the range of games and the number of players this room should keep everyone reasonably happy.
Tournament traffic is pretty good at Titan Poker. Scheduled tournaments usually have great turnout, but occasionally still leave some overlay. An excellent variety of game types and buy-in amounts is also present. Buy-ins start from $0 at their Freerolls and go up to $160 + $12. They also have a lot of invitationals for VIP players. This truly is a great room with an exceptional variety of tournaments for any player to choose from.
In a day and age when points and VIP clubs are all the rage, TitanPoker offers a pretty comprehensive reward system. It has six VIP levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium, and Diamond. All new players start out at the Bronze level and as they earn points at ring games and tournaments they get upgraded. Players are ranked at a VIP level based on their points awarded during the previous month. Here’s how it works:
Bronze - New Players
Silver - 1,600 Points
Gold - 7,000 Points
Platinum - 11,000 Points
Titanium - 18,000 Points
Diamond - 40,000 Points
VIPs also qualify for a lot of benefits such as: Weekly $1,000 VIP Freeroll, Monthly $2,500 VIP Freeroll, Monthly $5,000 VIP Freeroll , Exclusive VIP-Level based Points Races, tournaments, and competitions. Logically, the higher a person’s level is, the better the prizes.
Points are awarded on a gradient scale based on the rake. From a low of .2 of a point on a rake of between 4 to 9 cents, up to 14 points for rakes between $3.01 to the max rake of $5. Tournament players also earn points at a rate of 17 for every dollar they pay in tournament fees. Points can be redeemed for entries to tournaments or turned into cash. To understand their cash value, here’s an example: say you play games where the rake is between 25 to 50 cents per hand where each hand gives you one point. Play 2000 hands in a month and you can redeem your 2000 points for $10 in cash. Allow your points to accumulate and you can redeem them for larger sums of money.
has worked really hard to create a competitive rewards program and it seems to have paid off.
Titan Poker.com Software Interface/Usability
offers a slick 3D design, a blue and red color scheme, and animated characters that verbally say “call, fold, or raise.” This adds a lot to the poker experience. You can choose to have the chat bar on the side, under the table, or none at all. Additionally, you can choose to have all chat, just summaries, just dealer, or just player chat. It really helps to fit in so you can get the “perfect mold” and get all set with your game. You can also choose your avatar from pre-set selections, but you cannot upload your own custom one. You can choose to have the option “All-in” removed and also have a warning displayed for a large all-in bet, a very useful safety for preventing mistaken clicks. If you are a control freak you will love the customized options.
When multi-tabling on the site each table opens up a new window.
Hand Histories are displayed in a nice graphic format – one needs only to press a button and they are set. However, some may prefer to have standard text hand histories.
The poker software is also available in any of the following languages: English, Polish, Swedish, French, Italian, Norwegian, German, Danish, Russian, Romanian, Spanish, Finnish and Dutch.
TitanPoker.com Poker Room Action
has no shortage of action with an average of 10,000+ connected at most times during the day. If you check out the iPoker network page on FTR you will see their numbers usually peak around 25,000. This is more than plenty for an online poker room! Most of the players were concentrated in the low-mid stakes No-limit Hold’em areas but there were always micro and high stakes running as well. You also should be able to find an Omaha or Stud game if you want but usually no more than a few tables for any limit.
TitanPoker's Ease of Game, Ease of Making Money, Fish Rating
It’s plain and simple: the majority of the players at suck. With its generous bonus offers - many people receive large money incentives to sign up and clear a bonus – Titan Poker appears to be the site for many beginning players (although on a much smaller scale when compared to Party Poker). The rest of the players also seem to be there clearing a bonus and are just playing break-even poker. Aggression and good rushes will lead you to make an absolute killing with the fish.
Tournaments are extremely soft, including the aforementioned New Depositors Freeroll (every first time depositor gets 5 free entry tokens for satellites that run into a $20,000 guaranteed freeroll).
Their tournaments are now offering satellites for various poker trips. Previously, it was just for cash prizes. This is a nice step up because with the poor players you have a better chance of being able to win a nice poker trip / tournament entry, as opposed to playing in large tournaments full of good players all competing for only one spot (like at PokerStars).
The site is an excellent gold mine for pillaging micro limit players, as they are just awful… worse than the micro players on other sites. Of course, as you increase the stakes, the amount of truly bad players will be less. You will still be able to make nice profits consistently, though, if you can play just above average.
TitanPoker.com Bonuses and Promotions
offers an exclusive bonus for FTR members. By signing up through FlopTurnRiver, you will get a 150% up to $600 bonus on your initial deposit! This is much higher than the bonus that is normally offered, so make sure you sign up with the links on this page and use the Titan Poker bonus code FTRIVER when creating your account. If you deposit $400 you will get an extra $600 courtesy of FTR and Titan Poker!
Members who sign up through FTR will also be able to participate in the FTR400. The FTR400 is a series of money-added tournaments that take place on the 30th of each month. The buy-in is small but the bonus is huge! For a $2 buy-in all players will be competing for the regular prize pool PLUS there will be $400 added courtesy of FTR and Titan Poker! This tournament will run each month, so on top of your initial deposit bonus you could win even more just by playing. Then make sure to keep the 30th clear on your calendar every month after that!
Earning the bonus is relatively simple to explain, you collect $5 dollars of your bonus for every 600 Titan Poker Points. So for the complete $600, you need 72,000 points. How do you earn the points? Well, it all depends on your VIP level which was mentioned earlier. But if you're just starting out, which you have to be to get this deposit bonus, you will be under the Bronze category. However, keep playing to increase your VIP level and it will make it even easier to earn your $600! That’s because Titan Poker offers a Club Titan Loyalty Points Bonus. As you accumulate points, TitanPoker increases the quantity of points that will be awarded to you. For every 3 months of continued play, they boost your award percentage higher. So, if you earn 1000 points in a month, they will give you an extra 50 points (5%). Keep playing at the same rate and that bonus goes up to 6% after 6 months. A real shark can get up to a 78% bonus multiplier.

Titan Poker.com Customer and Technical Support
Support at is absolutely excellent and always ready to answer your questions. They offer 24/7 online support as well as e-mail and phone support. In addition to these, they have a chat option in the lobby. You can ask anything from promotional to technical questions and they will get the answer. Also, it feels like you have your own personal tech assistant waiting anytime you want to chat. Since you access this option through the lobby they have your log-in information already and they simply start out calling you by your name. The only problem with this feature is that once you open this door, you cannot close it. They will occasionally just open the chat line from their end and remind you of little bonuses and promotions they have. That can be annoying when you are calculating whether or not to go all in and suddenly the chat covers your hand and says: “Have you heard about our incredible sign-up bonus, etc.” However, when you have a question, no one can say that Titan Poker does not have someone available to help at any time.
So, making a long story short, is Titan Poker’s customer service any good? You betcha! But don’t take just our word for it. Titan Poker has managed to capture Gambling Online Magazine's Gold Award for the third consecutive year, for providing the Best Online Poker Customer Service in the year. Titan did this in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Our test cash-out was quick and relatively harmless, taking 2-3 days. They asked for no additional information before performing a cash out.

Probably the best brand and skin on the
iPoker network. Check out Titan for
their good bonus and promotions if
interested in the iPoker network. But
they don't accept US players.

Only full tilt is better for scheduled
tourneys, lots of loose/weak games and
great customer support. The game does
disconnect occasionally, but briefly and
any money lost can be quickly refunded
through contacting the support staff.
The bonus is harder to clear then most
other sites, but signing up I got an
additional 50 with no hand played
requirement.

Titan Poker has grown a lot over the
last couple years. The iPoker network
is now very active and has lots of
action. Nice $500 bonus offered to FTR
peeps, which is more than the standard
$200 normally offered if you go directly
to Titan.
Titan Poker - altogether not that user friendly by cf on 16 Nov 2007

Titan poker has many plusses - but just
as many minuses.
While the range of games and level of
action is consistently high, the
usability of the site is not brilliant.
From the lack of simple menu systems -
with slow refresh, and an unfilitered
list of tournaments, half of which you
are unable to play (other ipoker sites
do actually filter these for you),
through to the actual game table with
only slide bar options, rather than
multiple options to suit your style. The
bonus scheme is poor - but is there to
encourage regular 'everyday' play.
Yes you can play at this site (it isn't
as bad as some sites e.g. 888; paradise
poker) but as with all other sites on
the ipoker network - the focus is on
getting your money, rather than giving
you the fun experience and enjoyment you
should be getting.
On the whole - if you don't care about
the experience - play here (or any other
ipoker site) if you want to enjoy it at
the same time - go elsewhere (e.g.
carbonpoker).

Titan Poker is by far one of the best
poker rooms out there as it has one of
the highest and easiest to earn match
bonuses of 100% up to $500.
In addition, Titan Poker is known for
it's jackpot sit n gos where you can
win $15,000, $25,000 or even $100,000 if
you win several consecutive Sit n Gos in
a row
Another unique feature that Titan has
that most other rooms don't have is the
online support feature where you are
able to get instant chat assistance as
opposed to email support that usually
takes at least 24 hours.
If you check out some of the following
sites like pokerlistings.com,
pokernews.com, and pokertips.org you'll
see Titan is either #1 or #2 on all of
these.

As of 12/22/05 titan has changed their
bonus schedule, and it's terrible. Now
you get 1 point for 0.25-0.50 rake, 2
for 0.51-1, 4 for 1.01-1, and 8 for
2.01-3. I played 30 hands and recieved
35 points under new system, when i would
have recieved 180 points under the old
system AND i played at twice my normal
limit! Was a good site until they
pulled this, i will not play there
again. Totally unprofessional to do
this, they should have let people that
had previously sign up under old system
stay with that. oh well....
