  • NUTS: Terrible players, tournaments with overlay and very soft satellites for poker trips. Cool interface and tons of customizable features. Star system lets players get points for tournaments and Sit-n-Go's. Excellent for tournament players who want to clear a bonus.
  • BEATS: Only a handful of medium to low stakes. More emphasis on micro and small stakes. Bad bonus structure for high limit players.

Titan Poker Room Review

Titan Poker.com Overview

is a skin of the iPoker network, meaning they share the same players as VC Poker, Fair Poker and other iPoker sites. And unfortunately they do not accept US players. They use Playtech’s industry leading software and you can really tell because the rooms look great. However, these excellent graphics come at a price because they demand a lot of bandwidth. This results in Titan Poker disconnecting often, even when your connection seems to be working fine.

The site offers Texas Hold’em (Limit, No-limit, and Pot-limit), Omaha (Limit and Pot-limit), Omaha Hi/Lo (Limit and Pot-limit), and 7/5 Card Stud. They also offer all of these as Heads-up games from $.02/$.04 up to $300/$600, as well as Sit & Gos from $0.10 + $0.02 up to $5,000+$200. Lots of tournaments are scheduled although some of their guarantees may overlap. Titan Poker also turns your first deposit into free entry tokens to their $20,000 New Depositors Freeroll! There are often players who sign up for the tournament but forget to play it, which can turn out to be a easy money-making gem for those that do.

Sit & Go tournaments at Titan Poker have lots of players in them. They also offer a lot of action with buy-ins ranging from $0.10 + $0.02 up to $0,000 + $200. The last time we looked, we would estimate that at least 300 people were playing or about to play. These are pretty good numbers as a lot of sites have empty tables all over the place, but still pale in comparison to the bigger sites. The action is pretty much evenly distributed over their Heads-up, Beginners, and Jackpot games, however the Satellite room will leave you wanting. They do not have micro stakes, but with the range of games and the number of players this room should keep everyone reasonably happy.

Tournament traffic is pretty good at Titan Poker. Scheduled tournaments usually have great turnout, but occasionally still leave some overlay. An excellent variety of game types and buy-in amounts is also present. Buy-ins start from $0 at their Freerolls and go up to $160 + $12. They also have a lot of invitationals for VIP players. This truly is a great room with an exceptional variety of tournaments for any player to choose from.

In a day and age when points and VIP clubs are all the rage, TitanPoker offers a pretty comprehensive reward system. It has six VIP levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium, and Diamond. All new players start out at the Bronze level and as they earn points at ring games and tournaments they get upgraded. Players are ranked at a VIP level based on their points awarded during the previous month. Here’s how it works:

Bronze - New Players
Silver - 1,600 Points
Gold - 7,000 Points
Platinum - 11,000 Points
Titanium - 18,000 Points
Diamond - 40,000 Points

VIPs also qualify for a lot of benefits such as: Weekly $1,000 VIP Freeroll, Monthly $2,500 VIP Freeroll, Monthly $5,000 VIP Freeroll , Exclusive VIP-Level based Points Races, tournaments, and competitions. Logically, the higher a person’s level is, the better the prizes.

Points are awarded on a gradient scale based on the rake. From a low of .2 of a point on a rake of between 4 to 9 cents, up to 14 points for rakes between $3.01 to the max rake of $5. Tournament players also earn points at a rate of 17 for every dollar they pay in tournament fees. Points can be redeemed for entries to tournaments or turned into cash. To understand their cash value, here’s an example: say you play games where the rake is between 25 to 50 cents per hand where each hand gives you one point. Play 2000 hands in a month and you can redeem your 2000 points for $10 in cash. Allow your points to accumulate and you can redeem them for larger sums of money.

has worked really hard to create a competitive rewards program and it seems to have paid off.

Probably the best brand and skin on the iPoker network. Check out Titan for their good bonus and promotions if interested in the iPoker network. But they don't accept US players.

Only full tilt is better for scheduled tourneys, lots of loose/weak games and great customer support. The game does disconnect occasionally, but briefly and any money lost can be quickly refunded through contacting the support staff. The bonus is harder to clear then most other sites, but signing up I got an additional 50 with no hand played requirement.

Titan Poker has grown a lot over the last couple years. The iPoker network is now very active and has lots of action. Nice $500 bonus offered to FTR peeps, which is more than the standard $200 normally offered if you go directly to Titan.
