Waiting for cashout over 1 month by devolveNZ on 16 Jul 2011

I felt that the interface was poor and lacked basic functionality like being able to auto-centre the seat you are in, which made multi-tabling hard.
I also felt to blinds went up like crazy. To be honest I only played one tourney, a $50 rebuy, which cost me $150 to play. (a buyin plus 1 rebuy and 1 addon) Near the end of the tourney the blinds started doubling, the largest stack on the final table had less than ten big blinds. The whole tourney felt like a $1 turbo.
I did however manage to cash, but decided I disliked the software so much that I would cashout my funds. But have been waiting for OVER ONE MONTH TO CASHOUT. The help desk are friendly but don't help. I hope that I will get my money, but they have never told me why they are taking so long, and my hope is fading.
I WOULDN'T PLAY THERE.

I have tired for two weeks to make a
withdrawal off my account at Tiger
gaming. But they would not let any of my
funds go with out drivers license, Visa
card picture front and back and bank
statement. After faxing and then
scanning and emailing them these highly
sensitive documents. I was given a reply
of "have not recieved them" Even after
I tagged them and it came back
"confirmed" that they were recieved,
they kept telling me they did not

BEATS: Player traffic can be very low during off peak hours at TigerGaming. High stake tournament players will be hard pressed to find a tournament above $50. Hold 'Em action is sparse above $1/$2 NL. Unfortunately, they do not accept USA players.

Tiger Gaming.com Overview
TigerGaming is a poker room full of people throwing their money at you. They may pretend they're big shot poker players, but really all they are doing is giving you their cash. Tiger Gaming is a nice site, with pleasing graphics and a clean interface. The bonus is very nice and the customer support is helpful. Traffic is low, but it is not hard to get three or four tables going at the smaller stakes. Tiger Gaming is also unique in that it offers a number of different games that you will not find anywhere else on the internet. These include the "poker" game of Guts (very loosely called poker), the classic card game Big 2, as well as Chinese Poker and Pan. If you are a fan of any of these games then Tiger Gaming is the place to be.
TigerGaming has recently been advertising aggressively in Canada, with commercials on all poker programming airing on TSN, Rogers Sportsnet and The Score. Presumably they considered Canada a reservoir of underserved poker players. The aggressive campaign is still going on and has resulted in a poker site full of Canadians, many of whom really can't play poker well at all.
In addition to the unique games mentioned, Tiger Gaming offers tables of Limit and No-limit Texas Hold'Em, Limit and Pot-limit Omaha and extremely low traffic 7 Card Stud tables. If you get bored of poker you can visit the Tiger Gaming Casino with just a mouse click. Players can enjoy slots, table games, and video poker. There is also an option to gamble 'play money' at the casino.
Tiger Gaming Software Interface/Usability
TigerGaming has updated their software recently to include many great features. They still have the clean look, but now have more of the functions that are really just necessary in today's world of online poker.
You can now review hand histories instantly at the table. They have also added the option of completely resizing tables and added to the amount of tables that you can have open at one time, which used to be just 4, but is now 30! You can also view some basic stats right at the table, which is a nice feature.
TigerGaming has the requisite advance action buttons. One thing we noted was that in the No-limit games the advance action buttons "call any" and "raise any" disappeared. This is very nice because those buttons can be very dangerous in No-limit if hit by mistake. Their omission in NL games streamlines the software.
Tiger Gaming’s chat interface has the option of viewing dealer chat, player chat, both, or neither. There is also a four color deck available which makes multi-tabling easier and prevents the "Oh my God I just went all in and I don't have the flush I thought I did" moments.
One odd feature of the software is that when you want to bet you can either bet the minimum amount or you have to press the "bet other/raise other" button. Then the ‘bet other/raise other’ console pops up which is automatically set to bet the pot. This may sound complicated but the system actually works pretty well, although some may not like the fact it is automatically set to bet the pot. This is often convenient when you are the one betting, but it causes other players to play a more strategically proper game a lot of the time. On another site, a guy might bet three or four dollars into a ten dollar pot, but at Tiger they will often just bet the pot because it's so easy to do. This, in turn, destroys your odds at drawing and you have to fold.
Tiger Gaming does not have proper table stakes. Players are able to take money off the table at any time by simply leaving the table and then buying back in for what they want. Many people do not like hit-and-run artists and this "feature" will anger them. Tiger Gaming also has different buy-in schemes for their no-limit tables than most sites. Instead of a normal 100BB maximum-10BB minimum, Tiger has a 40-50BB minimum (changes at different stakes) and the normal 100BB maximum. This is a good feature since it keeps the table full of players with money and keeps the guys who buy-in very short away from the table.
The Tiger Gaming lobby is a bit small. Even at 1280x1024 on a 19" LCD it is small. For people that don't read small type very well it could cause some problems. The games list is quite functional, with the ability to sort by all the normal criteria with the exception of hands/hr. Unlike a lot of other sites this lobby regularly refreshes, once every minute or so when you are active on it.
TigerGaming.com Poker Room Action
Traffic is definitely an issue, especially at the 50NL+ and 1/2+. But if you are a low stakes player, finding a table at $2 NL up to $25 NL is usually very easy. It is common for there to be between three and six NL25 tables open and between four and eight NL5 tables. Finding a NL50 is harder. If you are lucky there will be one open, on rare occasions two tables. Finding no-limit games higher than this is next to impossible. Sometimes there will be a NL100 available but very rarely. We have never seen the NL1000 table populated in our time at the site.
Traffic at the other games is downright awful. They offer Seven Card Stud tables but nobody, literally nobody, plays them. Nor have we ever seen any of the stud tables populated. Omaha is almost as bad. There may one table of Omaha going on, usually of the .1/.2 pot-limit variety. As for the exotic games, at peak hours it is not hard to get a game going. Since Tiger is the only place for these games out there, the traffic is reasonable. The classic gambling game of Guts usually has two or three tables going, with minimum bets of between 10 and 50 cents.
Overall, the action on TigerGaming is not good but if you are a lower stakes player it is not bad either. If you play above 1/2 or 25NL though, this may not be your best choice.
TigerGaming.com Ease of Game, Ease of Making Money, Fish Rating
The players at TigerGaming are very bad, among the worst you'll encounter. Out of all the online poker rooms we've played at, only Sporting Bet Poker has worse players than Tiger Gaming. Tiger Gaming is full of people who do not play poker very well at all. It is very easy to take their money if you are a good player. Most of the players were loose and weak at the 25NL tables we played at, and would call big raises with very poor cards. Bluffing these players is pointless, as they love to call you down all the way. A large majority of the players do not understand pot odds at all and will call a pot-sized bet on the turn when drawing to an inside straight.
TigerGaming.com Bonuses and Promotions
See our TigerGaming Bonus page for details on clearing your bonus.
TigerGaming offers an excellent 100% First Deposit Bonus worth up to $2,500! You are only limited by the deposit options, which have a maximum deposit. This bonus deal is one that you cannot pass up! Make sure you use the links on this page and enter the Tiger Gaming Bonus Code FTR when creating your account.
For each bonus dollar you have to earn 14 POP. Tiger Gaming uses a percentage of the rake which is equal to the percentage a player has contributed to the pot. This means that if a player has bet and then folded, they will still earn points for the hand. This ultimately means players can clear bonuses faster. Tiger Gaming is also giving 10 POP for each whole dollar of house fees on tournaments. So $10+1 earns 10 POP. $30+3 earns 30 POP etc.
You have 45 days to earn the bonus. The bonus does not clear in increments, so you must accumulate the required number of POP or you will not get any bonus money.
What can you do with Tiger Gaming POP Points? Exchange them for cold hard cash of course. The best value is exchanging 20,000 POP Points for $100 and you can check out their website for other exchange options.

Tiger Gaming.com Customer and Technical Support
TigerGaming has 24 hour live online support. They are reasonably prompt in responding to an inquiry. The staff is helpful, and the information you request is given to you in a timely manner. With their addition of Live Chat Support, getting your questions answered quickly has never been easier. Contact and talk to a representative and within a couple of minutes you will have your questions answered by someone who knows what they are talking about.
The cashout process to Neteller is not unlike other sites'. Cashouts take 24-48 hours but in our experience it is always 48+ and never 24. Something odd about cashing out is that they do not process the cashouts on weekends so if you cashout on a Saturday the money will not be in your account until Wednesday.

I check out this room, it's quite nice.
The software interface is still lacking
some features, but it's playable for
bonus whoring. The bonus is pretty easy
to earn, but even easier, is playing
against this competition. I'm not sure
where these players came from, but it
wasn't FTR!!! Overall action and
traffic is still low, but I like the
fish. Worth trying out, earning the
bonus, and then you can decide if you
want to stay longer and take more from
the fish.

The fish are plentiful, that is true,
but they can put your lights out. I
can't count how many time I've lost AK
to A rag because the guy has paired his
kicker. Preflop raising doesn't disuede
the fish from calling and hoping to hit,
and they do it often enough that you
have to be careful. A lot of complaints
from the sharks when it happens about
the software, and that it's all rigged.
But, lol, I see the exact same
complaints on the reviews for other
sites. PP vs PP, set over set, AA vs KK,
runner runner to make a back door flush
or gutshot. Its wild, and with no
concept of pot odds, the fish will hang
on with grim determination. Really, the
sharks should know better than to get
angry about it. Doyle is the first one
to say "NEVER bluff a weak player!".
All in all, its probably the same at
most small stake games, I just find the
layout the simplest and least cluttered.
So where is this review coming from, to
help you decide if it is useful at all.
34 year old rank amateur, playing on
line since February, tried a few other
sites, like this one best. I have
withdrawn $2K (quick problem free
payouts)from an original $5.00 promo
bucks they gave me. Tight aggressive
will win out in the long run, but in the
short term, the shark will choke on the
school of fish and have to cough it up
every now and then. Bottom line is, nice
site, friendly fish, great support, no
hassle payouts, easy bonus system. As
for on line gaming software in general,
I have asked myself, if I owned such a
site, and someone showed me how to
"juice" the software for more action
to increase the rake, would I? Yes, I
probably would. But I don't know of any
scientific studies that have proven it,
so I will just assume that just like
anything else in life, the odds favor
the house.

Very Quiet, Bankroll Builder on 10 Aug 2005
Interface:
Action:
Fish:

TigerGaming is a great place to play if
you love fish & huge deposit bonuses.
There are easily 2-4 fish on every
table, even at the higher no limit
stakes of N/L $50 & N/L $100. The
deposit deposit has no ceiling, so you
can clear bonuses of $500 to $1,000 (or
more) if you multitable the higher
stakes games. The in-game graphics are
very appealing and the lobby has a good
organization of games and limits.
The Betting The Pot option actually
works to your advantage because fish
will bet hands like 'top pair trash
kicker' hard and it is easy to trap
with sets and straights.
The traffic is very poor. It is rare
that you'll find more than 3 or 4 full
tables of middle/high stakes games (N/L
$50 or up; L$3/6 or up).
There's also a lot of table talk on
this site - more than I've seen on any
other site. If you like chatting, this
may make your poker experience more
enjoyable. However, for those who think
it slows down the game, you'll cringe.
You can always turn off the players
notes (but people will still take the
full time limit to play their hands
while chatting away).
One thing that drove me absolutely crazy
was the amount of disconnection cheating
at the low/mid limits (N/L $25 often,
sometimes N/L $50). Players are provided
with 2 all-in protections every 24 hours
and some POS use both of them every day
by disconnecting from the server when
faced with a difficult decision (for a
fish, this would be folding middle pair
to a moderate bet). Allowing a cheat to
see the turn & river for free (and
sucking out on you) when you know
you've just been robbed is extremely
irritating. Be prepared for this...
It's a nice site to play on to build a
bankroll, but it's very quiet. I
wouldn't recommend it as your sole
online pokerroom.
