Stryyke Update
Stryyke is not recommended due to problems paying their players. We recommend that you read our Bwin Poker review. Bwin is also on the Ongame network and is solid.

Nuts (Cool): |

Stryyke has a sweet initial deposit bonus of 100% up to $1000, one of the best offers around. Graphics are at or above industry standards, providing games that are fun to watch. Offers additional reload bonuses and a last chance bonus offer. They also offer a flash version of their software so no download is required (great for Mac and Linux users!) Stryyke is part of the Ongame network which provides a great amount of traffic, making action easy to come by. |

Beats (Suck): |

United States players aren't allowed to play on Stryyke Poker. Support is lacking behind the great support systems of other poker rooms – it is also difficult to locate on their website. Downloading and installing can be a bit of a hassle. |

Stryyke.com Review
Still a freshly new poker room, entered the online poker scene in 2006 and has since offered many great promotions and perks for players to take advantage of. In light of it being a new up and coming poker room and sportsbook, there currently aren't very many reviews available for this room. It's my hope that this review will be informative enough to help you decide if Stryyke Poker is right for you!
Being that it's a multi-language full sportsbook, it has a strong presence in central Europe. It's clear that a lot of time and effort went into the development of their software to provide the best overall environment players could expect to receive. Stryyke advertises their dedication to bringing simple-to-use software and exciting poker experience to new and established players alike, and I think they've done a good job.
Teaming up with the Ongame Network was a good move for Stryyke because it brought their sportsbook to a whole new level bringing in all the poker action Ongame provides. One of this room's biggest downfalls is the lack of United States players due to recent U.S. Legislation. In deciding not to allow U.S. Citizens the right to play poker on their software, it was crucial they sign up with a network that can still offer a great amount of traffic.
It's no secret that many sportsbooks have some difficulty organizing their web content. With all the betting options offered it can be difficult locating relevant information, especially if you're only interested in the poker aspect of their services. In short, I love their green/orange color scheme and the way their home page is organized into categories, but it doesn't take long to tread deep in troubled waters looking for more specific information.
For deposit options, Stryyke's poker room offers all the major depositing options including additional options not found in many other rooms. They are: Credit Card, Bank Transfer, Moneybookers, NETELLER, Sofortuberweisung, PaySafeCard, Click2Pay, Webmoney. Each deposit option requires a minimum deposit of a low 10 Euros, so you don't have to break the bank in order to get started at Stryyke!

Stryyke Poker Software Interface/Usability
I've grown quite fond of 's software in the short time I've been reviewing it. If I was forced to choose between the software Stryyke uses and the poker site where I play regularly, I would have to choose Stryyke. Staying true to their green and orange theme, they've put together a near flawless piece of software with an attractive graphics package to top it off.
It only took a few minutes for me to get used to the interface as I'm not used to playing with Ongame software, but once I did it proved to be super easy to navigate around and find what I was looking for. A lot of poker rooms use similar software, so it wouldn't hurt to become familiar with what they use. When you first load the software, you're directed to a 'Quick Seat' option which allows you to specify a few desired attributes and Stryyke will automatically find a seat for you - no searching involved. This particular option isn't for me, but I can see its benefit for a player looking for a quick game on the fly.
For how flashy the graphics appear, especially the table and avatar graphics, they've kept it relatively simple. Being partial to simple designs myself, I appreciate their attempt at keeping a straight to the point poker operation. Offering flashy avatars of real people as opposed to boring icon avatars brings in players looking for something nice to look at, all while offering a clear cut design that gets the job done without a hitch.
In addition to player notes, which is becoming crucial in maintaining a profitable poker game, Stryyke also allows you to classify players into several different classifications. You can choose six different miniature icons to represent players you may come across in the future. For instance, if you're playing against someone who is throwing chips away left and right and appears to know very little about poker, you can assign a little '!' icon to represent this player. If you come across this player in the future you will remember him or her – or at the very least, their playing style.
Keeping in line with profiting from poker, many players choose to play on multiple tables at a time. Stryyke's software has a mini-table view option which shrinks games down into a smaller window by removing avatars and other unneeded graphics. I love this option because it allows me to open many more windows at once and still looks great.
My number one beef with the software was actually getting it to download, which is more of a website issue. Once I had it on my computer I had no problem with it whatsoever. First you have to register with the website before you can even download, which I found annoying. It took me almost 30 minutes just to get it installed because every time I clicked the download button it wouldn't do anything, nor would it tell me why. Finally I realized that it did not automatically log me in after completing the registration. Once logged in, everything was golden.
I should also mention that Stryyke offers a flash version of their software which allows you to play via web browser. This is a GREAT option and I think all poker rooms should incorporate this for their players. This allows people using a Mac computer or Linux operating system the chance to play, as well as those who may be traveling or on someone else's computer.

Stryyke.com Poker Room Action
Because it operates on the Ongame Network, there's always plenty of action to be found with . At the time I wrote this review there were 30,500 players on Stryyke, all looking for a bit of action themselves. While there are plenty of players to go around, action partly depends on what stakes you're willing to play as well. The lowest stakes currently offered in Stryyke's cash games is $.05-$.10, so if you're looking to play a little cheaper you're out of luck. On the flip side, the highest stakes offered are $50-$100. Extreme high rollers will be out of luck if they're looking for any action higher than this, unless they visit Stryyke's tournaments or limit games.
The Ongame network is currently 4th in line for most traffic right now. Neck and neck with the iPoker network, it could be looked at as 3rd in line behind online poker giants Full Tilt, and PokerStars. Some of the best traffic and action around can be found right here on the Ongame network using Stryyke poker.

Stryyke.com Customer and Technical Support
The only options available for customer support is email. They advertise telephone support on their website but fail to list any phone number. Whether the number is there or not, it shouldn't be that difficult to locate. I see this as being a major flaw in their web design. Accompanying that flaw is the difficulty level in finding even the limited support they offer via email.
All the way at the bottom of their page is a text link that says 'Contact' which is among several links that most people don't take the time to read. They're commonly overlooked and therefore the contact information should be highlighted within the site's main content or navigation. It could have been partially my stupidity, but most poker room's contact info or support is located in other places where it's more easily noticed.
They offer a FAQ though, which can be very helpful in finding answers before you attempt to contact them. Their FAQ saved them in my eyes, but adding the telephone number clearly and/or incorporating live chat support would drastically improve their support system. Keep in mind, if you must contact them, their representatives available via email are qualified to help you with any issue, you may just have to wait a little while for a response (I'm going on my 4th hour with no response as of yet.)

Stryyke Poker's Ease of Game, Ease of Making Money, Fish Rating
Many of the games found on the Ongame/ are some of the softest games around. With traffic numbers as high as Stryyke's, you're sure to bump into fish every single time you sit down. This is a perfect poker room for people who are looking to make a lot of profit off vulnerable fish because their great software and graphics attract a wide variety of players, especially those looking to have fun.

Stryyke.com Signup Bonus Codes and Promotions
offers one of the best initial deposit bonuses around at 100% of your deposit up to $1000. Additionally, instead of the 60 days many rooms give you to clear your bonus, Stryyke allows you 90 full days of play to clear your bonus and collect your free money. They also offer monthly $750,000 guaranteed tournaments on the last weekend of every month.
In addition they offer exclusive freerols, a VIPCLUB which rewards players for playing on Stryyke regularly, WSOP qualifiers, and a huge BOUNTY TOURNAMENT held weekly. In their Bounty Tournament, one of their staff members takes part in the MTT each week and whoever knocks the staff member out of the tournament receives a $200 bounty!
I think my favorite promotion is their Reload Bonus. They offer a nice reload bonus of 100% up to $500. If you've paid attention to other poker rooms, they usually offer this as their initial deposit bonus or less and do NOT include a reload bonus. With Stryyke Poker you get 100% of $1000 initially, and have a chance to earn another $500 on top of that!
