I first joined RVP because of the bonus.
I thought it would be great to try this
poker room without having to play my own
money...
The program is OK. I like the simplicity
of it and its ease of use, but it lacks
a few things to be great. I would have
liked to be able to see the hand history
and to have a time bank in tournys. The
server is very reliable, much better
than other rooms (paradise to name
one).
Action is pretty good. You will find
many players at any stakes for holdem,
and there is good omaha action too.
There are plenty of fishes. There are
also tournys at everytime of the
day-night, but they aren't as crowdy as
the ones at pokerstars. Expect 250-500+
to join for 10$ buy in.
One of the things i like the most about
this site are the freerolls. They run
5-6 1K freerolls that are opened to
everyone. Expect 6000 to join, but the
blind structure (10 min levels - they
double up) will allow those tournys to
last about 3 hours. 260 places paid. I
also joined the "College Poker
Championship", a pretty good league for
students all around the world (i'm
studying medicine).
Overall, it's a pretty good poker room.
The skin isn't as attractive as
paradise's or Noble's, but i like the
action, the fishes and the promotions. I
recommand you to take a look. It won't
cost you anything anyway.

Good spot to learn. On the Prima
network, decent action. The bonus gives
you $10 up front, so you can use that to
play on the micro-stakes and try to
build up your bankroll from nothing.
You do not need to make a deposit to get
the $10!
