Inter Poker.com Overview
is constantly improving just about every aspect of the poker experience that they offer. The developers recently decided to outsource their network and focus solely on the software. InterPoker is now on the International Poker Network (IPN, a.k.a. Boss Media) where they have joined more than 90 other poker sites. This has increased their traffic greatly and games have gotten much better. While software issues had never been a major problem for InterPoker, they are now implementing improvements to counteract complaints that it was too simple and plain.
InterPoker offers the common poker games including: No-limit, Pot-limit, and Limit Texas Hold'em; 7 card Stud; Omaha High; Omaha High/Low; head-to-head Texas Hold'em; single table SnG tournaments; and multi-table tournaments (MTT's).
Financial transaction support includes: Neteller; Firepay; Visa; Mastercard; Citadel Commerce; ECP; check; and Debit Cards. We used Neteller to deposit and withdraw into InterPoker and it was quick and painless.
Check out our guidelines about the sign up process at Inter Poker.
Inter Poker.com Software Interface/Usability
's software has made vast improvements since FlopTurnRiver first reviewed their poker room. While it seems they decided to stick with the simplistic approach in designing their software, their graphics have improved tenfold and both lobby and table are much more visually appealing than in their former graphics package.
One could make the argument that the graphics still aren't very exciting to watch, but the truth is there are plenty of people out there who prefer it that way. Bottom line: their software gets the job done and the InterPoker app is pretty much flawless in its operation, free from frequent software glitches. The average person will enjoy the table and avatars. The only aspect of the table graphics we disliked were the chips at the top of the window where you reload money onto the table.
Note, however, that while InterPoker's animations are smooth moving, they can also be quite slow, cutting into the amount of hands you're able to play during your session. The animations can be nice to look at and may keep you entertained as you stare at the screen, but it would be nice to see them quickened a bit. After a while the monotony sets in, akin to waiting for a player to wind down his time bank for the 5th hand in a row.
InterPoker offers some nice sound effects that announce what’s happening on the table. Hearing the Dealer call out the current action (“Dealing Cards”, “Dealing Turn”, “Dealing River”, etc.) could be extremely helpful for people who are multi-tabling or for those who are easily distracted while doing other things on the computer. If you’ve ever had hands like AK folded because you hadn't noticed it was your turn to act you will likely appreciate this feature! Unfortunately, once you minimize the InterPoker window or it becomes inactive or un-highlighted (while you work in another window), the sounds don't play. This is the same thing it did when we first reviewed their software years ago. It would have been nice to see this changed.
The interface allows for player note-taking. You have to click a button on the bottom left corner of the interface and then select the player from a drop down menu before taking your notes. Alternatively, you can just double-click your opponent for a quick option to take notes on them. InterPoker offers a good hand history feature that can be reviewed online or requested via email. And you may view your poker stats during the session if you wish. InterPoker does not offer a friend finder feature, which is pretty disappointing for those who like to play with friends – or search for known fish. :)
The lobby is quite unimpressive, to say the least. For the most basic game information it is fine, but anything beyond that can be annoying to retrieve. The overall layout and functionality of the lobby is rather poor and well below the status as other poker rooms such as PokerStars.
Inter Poker.com Poker Room Action
has grown in popularity over the years and the larger player base has greatly improved the action. Years ago, the average number of players hovered somewhere around 1500 people. It has since grown to over 6500. At the time of this writing there were currently 5430 people playing at InterPoker.
There may still be times where you'll have to wait for a game to fill or open up, but if you're willing to sacrifice a little wait time for a good poker room it shouldn't be so bad. The stakes have greatly improved in range, ushering in a new group of both low and high rollers to InterPoker. Offering variety in stakes and games is a great way to improve traffic and attract new players and this poker room has done just that. If they continue on this track, their growth will continue and in turn benefit their players.
Inter Poker's Ease of Game, Ease of Making Money, Fish Rating
has come a long way in making their poker room more appealing to players of all types and skill levels. They've broadened their range of stakes, including much lower stakes which brings in players who are new to the game and therefore easy people to make some money off of! The lower level offers some fairly loose/aggressive action which can be great for making some sweet profit, provided you're comfortable playing in that type of environment.
Another aspect making InterPoker an easy money machine is the amount of players migrating down from its parent Casino company. These are the type of players that inherently have gambling pumped through their veins and love to risk it all for thrills. This type of play, matched with your patiently awaited killer hand can make for some mad profit. Patience is the key!
In the past, InterPoker has proven to be a bit of a tough cookie to crack but, with the changes they've made over the years, you can easily make some cash on this site. As long as you keep working on your own game through it all, you'll do fine.
Inter Poker.com Bonuses and Promotions
See our InterPoker Bonus page for details on clearing your bonus.
currently offers an incredible 200% up to $1000 Welcome Bonus. There is no InterPoker bonus code required, so make sure you use the links on this page! If you have never deposited money on this poker site before you can enjoy their initial deposit bonus of up to $1000. You can deposit as little as $25 and a maximum of $500 and InterPoker will match 200% of your deposit once you clear the bonus.
Here’s what you’ll have to do to claim the first time player bonus:
- First and foremost- download and install their software here: InterPoker.
- Click on 'Cashier' when you have opened the InterPoker software.
- Make a deposit of $25 or more and they'll match it 200% up to a maximum of $1000!
- Play 16 times your deposit amount in FPPs (Ex. A $100 deposit will reward you with $200 extra when you reach 3200 FPPs).
- Once you have achieved your FPP target, the cash reward will then be credited to your account!
InterPoker rewards their players with Frequent Player Points, which are earned for play at any real cash game. Whenever the total rake in any hand reaches at least €0.25, every player that contributed to the pot in that hand will be awarded with FPPs. The higher the rake amount, the higher the reward. Players will be given 1 FPP for every €0.25 contributed in rake during each individual table session.
Tournament players can also receive FPPs. For each tournament, 1 FPP will be awarded for every €0.25 paid in tournament fees. So for example, a €3 + €.30 tournament will award 1 FPP, but a €10 + €1 tournament will award 4 FPPs. Remember, all players have 90 days to clear the bonus or it will be forfeited.
InterPoker also offers promotions and bonuses for existing players. With the Monthly Nuts Bonus, players are given a chance to earn $60, $100, or $200 each month depending on the bonus code and conditions they choose.
In addition to those promotions they also have a Bad Beat Jackpot, Platinum Club, Caribbean Poker Classic promotion, and a Head Hunter Leaderboard that ranks the top 250 players on InterPoker and shows All-Time Kills!

Inter Poker.com Customer and Technical Support
still has a long way to go before they reach the support status of PokerStars, but they're getting better in their efforts. Among the many improvements is their Technical Support. Currently the best way to reach their support is via telephone with the number associated with your country. They also offer 24/7 Email support.
Live Chat is one way of reaching support that's grown in popularity in the poker world. Live Chat is extremely valuable for players seeking quick answers to their questions directly from a representative in real time. InterPoker does NOT currently offer this feature and it's a shame.
In addition to telephone and email sources of information, they provide Frequently Asked Questions, Detailed “Getting Started” Instructions, a Free Install CD that can be delivered to your house, and a Bug Report.

I have just started to play on
Interpoker and really like the software.
The gameplay is a little bit slow as
they give the players a long time to
think about their action. However, for
people on slower computers this is
great. The players there are mostly
tight bonus hunters but this can be to
your advantage if you open up your game
and raise more in position. The bonuses
and rakeback offers on Interpoker are
fantastic. If they could increase their
player base across the general public
and not just the poker community then
this could be a great site to call your
homebase.

I wouldn't recommend Interpoker to
anybody. On september 28th they sent me
an offer to receive $20 for free if I
played at least one hand raked over $1.
When I did so the next day and didn't
receive the bonus, I contacted support.
They gave me this reply:
"Hello and thank you for contacting the
Intercasino support team.
I have the reqret to inform you that
this promotion is no more valid due to
modifications in the Intercasino bonuses
organisation.
We apologize for any inconvenience this
might have caused."
There is one word for this: Fraud. They
make me an offer one day, then retract
it when I have fulfilled my part of the
deal. There is nothing more to say on
this, but if anybody would like
documentation, feel free to contact me

I've played in the 5 biggest poker
rooms and this one is my favorite,
simply because it has the best loyalty
program, with matching funds every month
up to $100. Also has nice freeroll
tournaments nightly ($3000 on Saturday),
and you earn poker points toward other
free tournaments.
Interface is ok, could definitely be
better. Getting cash deposited is not
overly straightforward, but once you're
past the initial hassle, it's much
better.

I've played Inter before, like 6 months
ago and back then it indeed had nothing
lower than .50/1. I've since decided to
leave Paradise because of the supposedly
more difficult competetion and seek
another room.
I based my choice for Inter on
pokerlistings.com reviews and checking
out software for a couple of other
sites. Noble and Celeb, in particular,
with Celeb almost winning out, but for
the lack of game choice.
Pokerlistings.com claims that Inter is
full of novice players spiling over from
the casino. I see that the feeling here
is quite different.
My experience so far is inconclusive.
I've played stupidly at times -- like
going on a tourney craze and dropping
1/2 my bankroll. But aside from that,
I'd say that there are a lot of morons
playing Inter, particularly at the
.25/.50 tables.
There are also .15/.25 cent pot limit
and no-limit games. I've had mixed
results here, but as you know, these
games can take a heavy toll in a short
while.
As for the software, compared to
Paradise -- my old fave --it is pretty
marginal. I find it very slow when
playing two tables, and often get folded
before I've had a chance to react.
Playing three is simply not possible.
Support has been fine, and as for
cashing out, I've already got my PIN
and it was no problem once I submitted.
Got my credit card credited back which a
lot more than some sites where you
can't even use a credit card, of which
Ultimate Bet and Party leap to mind.
Promotions SEEM to be good, but I am
somewhat unsure of the "up an up-ness"
of this site, yet. That casino attached
makes me nervous.

Inter Poker is the most difficult site
to get your withdrawal. After numerous
phone calls and 3 separate fax numbers
they gave me we were unable to make
contact. Inter Poker uses E-cash which
is a name to stay clear off. I have
never encountered a site that refuses to
let you withdraw but they win hands down
for cheating you. Inter poker was
terrible with many disconnects while
playing so I immediately requested my
money back to no avail after still
waiting over 6 weeks. Please take my
advise and stay clear of them.

Good luck getting a raked hand that
counts towards your bonus at anything
lower than .5/1. People like me who
dont have the bankroll to play anything
more than .25/50 the bonus is going to
take forever to clear.
So far there is a lot of betting, for
better or worse. The large majority of
the hands end before showdown - kind of
an 'all or nothing' type action, hard
to stay interested. Now i wish i
wouldnt have put any money into it, but
ill probably have to wait forever for a
cash out. Especially if the cashier is
reflected by the seemingly non-existent
customer support. Anyway, just isnt an
interesting site at the .25/.50 stakes.
Just be prepared for every open and
raise to vastly over bet the pot.

I've tried many online poker rooms but
I keep coming back to InterPoker. I
typically play in single and multi-table
tournaments and I have been very
sucessful thus far. The quality of
poker is much higher than other rooms
like Empire/Party Poker or even Paradise
which reduces the number of bad beats to
some random guy holding a 8/3 off
suit...and of course the %100 bonus it
the best one out there.
For the most part, the people on the
site are very curtious. Being from
Canada, I think this site offers one of
the best places to play against European
players which makes some of the
conversations quite entertaining.
However, there are a few problems I
would like to see fixed. The GUI in my
opinion is very nice but I don't like
the All-In button being right after the
betting slide bar...I always think that
it's an 'OK' or 'BET' button to bet
the amount on the slide bar not to go
all-in...I've seen it happen twice to
different people where they ment to bet
say 65 chips and they ended up going
all-in by mistake.
Their account summary is also very
confusing...I still haven't really
figured it out since it seems to
withdraw all of your money each time you
enter a tourney and then put more or
less of it back in you account depending
on how you did in the tourney.
I also with they had regular tables with
lower than $.50/$1.00 blinds. Right now
I like to play the $1/$2 talbes but when
I was starting out, I would have like to
try some $.05/$.10 tables...but that's
probably why their bonus is so good
because most players are betting pretty
good money.
Even though there are some areas that
could use improvement, I'm rating
everthing very high because this is by
far my most favourite place to play.

Action at interpoker is pretty good, ive
been playing mostly 1/2 limit games and
can usually find a good table without
waiting, the players at interpoker are
definitley better than sites like party
poker, but ive found that the games are
still quite easy to beat. The bonuses at
interpoker are probably the best thing
about the site...along with the prop
invites others have mentioned, their
monthy bonuses are really good and very
easy to clear. While party poker will
always be my primary place of play,
interpoker is going to be getting alot
more of my time.

YOU CANNOT CASH OUT RIGHT AWAY WITH A
CREDIT CARD! I was very disappointed to
learn that my "PIN code" was in the
mail and I could not cash out until it
gets here. It's being mailed from
Europe? Great. I'm in the US.
I signed up for Interpoker to get the
$90 deposit bonus. While the interface
isn't anything special, it is
functional. I played $1-2 ring and six
handed and the players were quite
predictable. I moved up to the six
handed $2-4 and again the game was very
soft. Little preflop raising and lots of
chasers.
One of the best features for me was
unlimited raises on the river heads up.
I won $66 with a boat over nut flush.
Why don't more sites allow this?
For the bonus, there is no way to know
how many more hands you need to play
unless you count them yourself. You may
however, call the 800 number and ask a
service rep. By the way, I was able to
reach someone every time I called with
no long wait and they were very helpful.
I was excited to be invited to play as a
paid prop. The only problem is that if
you get disconnected, your proposition
ends even if you reconnect immediately.
After this occurred I played another
1000 hands easily without ever getting
an invitation again. I got paid a
whopping 95c for the time played before
getting disconnected. Too bad because I
would glady play heads up or short
handed for money.
I am still unable to figure out why the
hand history doesn't show what your
opponent mucked at the showdown. If I
have position and check the river, I
want to see what he was playing!
It is so entertaining to read the
reviews stating how realistic or
unrealistic the hands are at any
particular poker site. Without any long
term mathematical support, an
individuals short term luck seems to
make the difference as to where they
continue playing. Oh well. Many poker
players do tend to be superstitous. I
happened to make two SFs and quads
within six hours playing on two tables.
Does that mean Interpoker deals
unrealistically? In my opinion, no. I
GOT LUCKY. Period.

I've played at several sites (primarily
Pacific and Party) and InterPoker deals
the most realistic hands by far. No
flopped pairs every other hand and
rivered flushes every 4th hand. What
some may consider a drawback of Inter is
that the level of play is usually
top-notch there. Just about every
player seems to have a decent grasp of
the game - even in the low stakes rooms
(which really aren't that low anyway).
But personally, I enjoy the challenge of
playing with good players far more than
I enjoy fishing, and by no means are the
majority of Inter players pros. One
other drawback is that sometimes it can
be slightly difficult to find a game at
your preferred stakes, but with alittle
patience you can use their nice waiting
room system to find exactly what you
want within afew minutes. Also, many
seem to complain about the boring
interface. I found it very plain at
first myself, but it grows on you
quickly once you get used to it. Plus
they have alot more preference options
than the other sites. Finally, I
haven't found slow gameplay to be an
issue at all, if anything the pace is
reliable. If you do find yourself
getting bored, you can always play up to
4 tables at once. Bottom line -
InterPoker is a great site with great
play, and the bonus incentives far
outweigh the lack of fish. If you're a
player looking for a realistic game,
this is your site. If it's noobs you
want, look elsewhere, but give Inter a
chance every once in awhile and I think
you'll find it's a nice change of pace
if nothing else. They will probably be
getting the majority of my deposits from
now on.

Given, the interface isnt that exciting.
And there isn't the game you want
available every minute. But for the true
poker player, Interpoker is superior to
its competition, especially party poker.
Party Poker gives the most rediculous
hands (full houses vs. full houses and
quads vs. quads) that just dont happen
in real life nearly as frequent.
Interpoker also has more skilled
players. Probably because it isnt as
much about a cool new game to try out as
it is about being able to play the game.
If you want a ton of fish to take your
bait and flip a coin to see if they suck
out on you, then go to party poker. If
you want a real game, vs quality
players, play at interpoker. They also
hae great promotions.

Interpoker has been very good to me.
Promotions: First, there is a monthly
match bonus of 100% up to $90 max (it
was $100 in Dec. for the holidays). This
is not terribly difficult to clear,
however I recommend a larger bankroll
than just $90 to absorb any swings.
Interface is generic but not harsh on
the eyes and easy to navigate. I
especially like the "all-in button".
No need to slide the bar, just hit AI.
Fortunately it is a small button so it
is hard to accidentially hit it.
Techinical support is very good. I have
used e-mail support and recieved a reply
withing 48 hours. I have also called
the help line several times and get good
response.
Poker room action: Good base of players
usually 300+. The most action is at the
2/4 limit and .50/1 NL levels but there
are bigger games and 6 max tables. They
run several small multitable games with
100 or less entries. I have made a lot
of $ in these multis. They also have
2000# and 3500# guaranteed games capped
at 200 and 350 entries.
Ovall I give IP a solid rating.

There is an error in ttanaka's review.
On taking Player Notes, he said that you
need to "click a button on the bottom
left corner of the interface, and then
select the player from a drop down menu
before taking your notes."
Actually, all you have to do is
double-click on the player you want to
take notes on and jot it down. Ttanaka
pretty much hit everything else right on
the nail.
An extra feature of Interpoker which
some people would be interested in are,
in my opinion, the best Freerolls in
Internet poker. They have AT LEAST one
every single day during the afternoon or
night and not at inconvenient times like
many other sites. The prize pools are
also pretty large relative to the field.
From Monday to Thursday the Freerolls
have 500 entrants sharing a prize pool
of $300. On Friday and Sunday there are
750 entrants sharing a prize pool of
$500. And on Saturday there is a 1000
entrant Freeroll competing for shares of
a $3000 prize pool. To date I've
played these Freerolls for several
months in my spare time, and have
accumulated $93 dollars which I will
soon withdraw. While some blowhards
will dismiss Freerolls as a
"crapshoot" or lament the bad beats
put on them, to me they are a valuable
and free source of experience for MTTs.
There are strategies unique to MTTs to
be found only through experience. You
COULD waste hundreds of dollars entering
MTTs to learn the niches of these
tournaments, or you could put $0 on the
line, improve your game, and take home a
lot of cash in the process.

InterPoker offers some incredible
bonuses and player promotions. That
alone will keep me here for a while.
The player base is weak, there is not a
lot of action, the interface is slow,
and the competition is pretty tough.
But if the poker room is offering to
give me free bonus dollars every month,
well then I'll give InterPoker more of
my time and see if I can turn a profit
over there.
