As soon as your done hopping from skin
to skin and looking to become a real
player, the PokerStars VIP Club offers
long lasting benefits. I joined Fair
Poker to jump on some promotion. It was
ok, a decent skin on the iPoker network,
one of a billion. Actually, it's one
of the better skins, imo, they offer a
bit more in promotions. But, I've
already left and gone back to
PokerStars, which is what I always seem
to do...

I came from Full Tilt and tried Fair
Poker, I wasn't impressed, the room
didn't have a whole lot of action
during off times (when I tend to play).
Low stakes is ok, but mid and higher is
lacking. Interface is pretty good.
Withdrawing is a bit of a hassle, I ran
into some questions and support wasn't
that great, and last time I checked, you
could only multi-table 3 tables at a
time. I think it's a pretty good site
for low-stakes, beginner level players.

Fair Poker Highlights
-
50% Initial Deposit Up to $500 -- Use Bonus Code: 12000
-
NUTS: Being a member of the iPoker Network guarantees both a lot of traffic and solid customer support. As a result of the higher traffic there is a fair amount of action at their non-Hold’em tables, including Omaha and Stud variants. There are plenty of NL tables running from microstakes through midstakes.
-
BEATS: While the site has a lot of traffic, their higher stakes games barely run. It is tough to find many games over the $5/$10 blinds. After the UIGEA was passed iPoker closed its doors to US Players.

Fair Poker.com Overview
is a skin of the iPoker network, meaning they share the same tables as Noble Poker, Diamond Club Poker, CDpoker and others (full list of iPoker rooms supported by FTR can be found in iPoker's network page). Unfortunately, they do not accept US players since the passing of the UIGEA.
Fair Poker offers a wide variety of games including Texas Hold-Em (limit, pot limit, no limit), Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo (limit, pot limit), and 7 Card/5 Card Stud. The site has a lot of traffic which makes it easy to find a game at most stakes. Games run around the clock all the way up to $5/$10. Also, if you're looking at trying Omaha or Stud, you will be able to find a few tables. This is nice since many rooms offer these games, but hardly ever have any running. They offer different casino style games - in case you want to take a break. They offer video poker and blackjack. You play and win real money on these games. It offers a nice break if you've just taken a bad beat or need to kill a couple of minutes.
Tournaments at Fair Poker are pretty popular, but don't compare to online giants like PokerStars or Full Tilt. Still, for an Euro site you will be able to find a nice selection. Their most popular guaranteed tournaments are their weekly $33 ($10,000 gtd), $55 ($15,000 gtd), $109 ($25,000 gtd), and their monthly Sunday $215 ($100,000 gtd), which runs on the first Sunday of the month. If those are too big for your bankroll, they also offer a wide variety of $1 - $22 tournaments every single day which usually host about 300 - 1000 players. They also have satellites for their larger tournaments running constantly. Sit & Gos are quite popular as well, and their buy-ins range from $.10 up to $1000. You will find hundreds running at all times, mainly in the $11 - $55 levels. They offer 10 max, 6 max, heads up, turbos, super turbos, and jackpots. The jackpots have a higher rake, but if you win 6 consecutive ones you will win the jackpot ($50,000!).
Fair Poker has a VIP program for loyal players, but currently there isn't much you can earn. By playing cash and tournaments, you collect coins based on the amount of rake. You can earn 1 point per hand up to 11, depending on your VIP level and rake, and 20 coins per $1 in tournament fees up to 30 per $1. The higher your VIP level, the more coins you earn, but what can you do with the points? Basically nothing... You do earn bonuses faster, but that's pretty much it. Their website reads "Gold and Platinum players will be eligible for extended benefits which will be announced in due course," so we will see if they will add any additional benefits in the future.
Fair Poker Software Interface/Usability
's software has a great, realistic interface. The site provides a top down, "birds eye view" of the game. You can also switch to a side view of the game. The characters are nicely drawn, but aren't animated. The characters use real voices when making a move. You actually hear "Check, Call, Bet, Raise, Fold, I'm all in." The sound of chips clanking occurs when someone bets/raises. The sounds can all be turned off if you want (which I prefer!).
The chat bar is on the side. I like this as it is easy to read the conversations, but doesn't distract from the game. The text is in a small black font and player conversations are in a larger, green font. You can also choose to have no chat, or a small chat room integrated within the table.
The software at Fair Poker has come a long way, and now has many features it once lacked. For example, when it first launched you could only play 3 tables at once and were tabbed in the lobby, but now there is a max of 8. There were also no hand histories before, and now you can save them onto your computer. The lobby has improved drastically too, and is very well organized. You can select which game you want to play on the left side in a tabbed menu, then locate which table you want to play at. Tournaments have their own lobby, but you can't move them around. They are stationary inside of the actual lobby, which can be annoying.
Fair Poker offers 10 max full ring, 6 max shorthanded, and heads up cash tables throughout the limits. While playing, there are many things that can be adjusted. You can disable avatars, use a 4 color deck, enable "mini view" which makes the table much smaller, or even use full screen mode (yuck). There is even a warning built in for unusual bets, like if you were to take a $1 bet and raise it up to $500, they would confirm you really want to do that. Overall the games have a nice speed, and I prefer the fast tables as you get more hands per hour in.
Fair Poker.com Poker Room Action
There is A LOT of traffic and action at Fair Poker. During peak hours, you can see 25,000+ users connected, mainly playing no-limit hold'em cash games. There are hundreds of micro, mid, and even high stakes running at once. Even during their slower hours, you will still see a constant of 5,000+ players connected, which is very nice player base. Because they are on the iPoker network you will play with people on other skins, which really helps the traffic. Unfortunately, they can not accept US players because of iPoker's policy since the passing of the UIGEA. At first this really limited their traffic, but since they have really targeted European countries and and now iPoker is one of the largest non-US sites online today.
Their non-Hold’em games tend to have much less traffic at mid/high-stakes. While there are plenty of games to be found at the micro/small-stakes it will be difficult to find much PLO8b or Stud games above $2/4.
Fair Poker.com Ease of Game, Ease of Making Money, Fish Rating
Just like most European-based sites, the play tends to be softer than sites like FullTilt and PokerStars. Being a part of the iPoker network brings in a wide array of fish at all limits, which is great news for those looking to build a bankroll while clearing their large sign-up bonus.
Fair Poker.com Bonuses and Promotions
The promotions show that is truly "player focused." By signing up through Flop Turn River, you will be given a 50% up to $500 bonus on your initial deposit! Make sure you use the Fair Poker Bonus Code 12000 when making your deposit to qualify. This bonus isn't the best for low stake players though, as you need at least $1000 to cap it off and is earned rather slowly.
You need to collect coins by paying rake or tournament fees. For cash games, when the rake is $.25 - $.50 you will earn 1 coin, $.51 - $1.00 earns 2 coins, $1.01 - $1.50 earns 4 coins, $1.51 - $2.00 earns 6 coins, and $2.01+ gets 8 coins. You can also earn coins faster by increasing your VIP level. If you play tournaments, every $1 in fees nets you 20 coins (up to 30 for increasing your VIP level). For every 500 coins you earn, you collect $10 of your bonus. So for the full $500, you have to collect 25,000 coins. As you can see, this is quite a lot and if you play less than 100nl this will take you a long, long time. So if your bankroll isn't very large, put this one on hold for a bit!

I really like Fair Poker.I was
introduced to it by a friend and found
the site reall nice. They have a lot of
good tournaments which dont have as many
players in them like the big sites, so
the value is a lot bigger.
Its so easy to get around and the live
support was really fantastic.Their bonus
is really good up to $500 and it has
taken me just 2 weks of playing a few
hours a day to get nearly all of the
$200 I am expecting.They give you $10
automatically when you get to 500 Coins
( much better then Titan which is 1000
Points )
They send out a reload bonus deal once a
month and I just got a mail inviting me
to two freerolls next week...
I really recomend Fair Poker

amazing.

policies.
Otherwise not a bad place cos there are
fish a-plenty here.

I really enjoy playing at this room. They
just went through an upgrade so its now
quicker to get to the cashier, the games
are faster and you can play 3 screens at
once.Multi tabling is tiled if you
change your settings.
The graphics are still good even though
they have got rid of the 3D top view .
Promotions are excellent and I just got
half my deposit back through their
WIN/WIN scheme...this really is the best
promotion in poker and it shows in the
numbers of people playing there now
which is getting bigger and bigger all
the time

I have been playing at Fairpoker for a
few months now, and in general I am very
satisfied with them. I see it as a
possitive thing that it's not filled up
with players... the less players, the
less "sharks"..but it is growing very
fast.
Their support is one of the better i
have seen so far, they answer you within
just a few seconds as they have a live
chat service 24/7
They are also good at offering bonuses
and always send invitations to their
free rolls.
I love their sit’n’go games because they
are quick and last up to a maximum of 40
minutes but you can also play normal
tournaments which run through the day
and night so you can always get a game
In the beginning i had some trouble
withdrawing money, but it helped a lot
to do it by Neteller instead. After
playing at quite a few poker sites over
the past 2 years ,I think I will stay at
Fair Poker now.

I would say that Fair Poker has the best
interface in online poker. Colours are
good and crisp graphics make it easy to
sit in front of for hours.I also like
the fact that there are not thousands of
players and that things are not so
pressured. There are loads of fish and
many new beginers all the time as most
come from their casino sites...I like to
have a chance and not be up against it
all the time like at Paradise.Their
support is ok and they also give you
loads of addresses for their managers so
you can talk dierctly to the guys who
actually run the room.Multi-tabling
doesn't interest me but I hear they
will be introducing tiled multi- screen
tabling pretty soon.They have removed
the casino games and apparantly things
will speed up considerably.I agree their
promotions are awesome and I get
offerred something new every weekend.
This is a good solid site and well worth
a visit.I have also played at Pokerroom
,Paradise,interpoker and more recently
ay Party just to see what the fuss is
about and I always come back to Fair
Poker !

I have played at this site a few times,
because I received free money to test
it. I am very unhappy with the site and
with my last experience I know that
something is not right.
This is what happened:
I was waiting for a Freeroll to open up
for registration. It said it would start
at 1am but at 1:10 am it had still not
opened up. I was literally staring at
the screen (yes I really wanted to
play), went out to get a cup of coffee
and when I came back...500 players had
signed up within 1 MINUTE!. There were a
total of 520 players online so in other
words..ALL of them decided to sign up
within that minute.
Judge for yourself, but I will never
vist this site again.

It's not bad... graphics are quite
nice, but the room and network is still
pretty new, so traffic and players are
lacking. This can be good for
guaranteed tournaments, but bad for the
grinding ring player. It's worth
checking out for the bonus, most poker
rooms are, and I'll come back for
tournaments, but my ring game is going

They have a killer promotion - bust out,

The 3d interface is fantastic and
realistic. Plenty of fish and best of
all, the penny omaha 10 player game is a
blast (if you are coming off a losing
session) where the pots are not even
that bad.
Best are the tournaments. 1500 guarantee
tournaments for 15 bucks with 40 people
- this site is a steal!
