EuroPoker.com Overview
is one of the few sites which are primarily targeted at the European market. It is part of the massive OnGame network and shares its user base with the PokerRoom.com site, among others. They are on th Ongame network and currently do not accept US players.
Supported finance options are Neteller, Credit/Debit cards, InstaCash, Firepay, Click2Pay, WebMoney, and EPassPorte. All cashouts have to be manually processed prior to funds being released, which on average takes 1 business day.
Europoker offers a great range of non Holdem games, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo and 5 Card Draw. There is also a dedicated section of ?Private Tables? which contains a mixture of variants, stake levels and maximum players ? all definable by the person who sets up the table.
A variety of different stakes are available at EuroPoker, ranging from $0.05/$0/10 to $50/$100 on No Limit tables. Although most of the play is concentrated towards the lower limits, there's no problem finding a shorthanded table at anything up to $10/$20. The tournament buy-ins cover an even wider selection, from as low as $0.50+$0.05 $100+$8 daily. There are also a number of higher stakes tournaments throughout the week, with buy-in's as high as $1000+$40, as well as a $100+$8 buy in $100,000 guaranteed with one rebuy.
EuroPoker.com Software Interface/Usability
The main
interface is completely web based and runs in Java. This means it isn?t limited to Windows/PC platforms and can be used by Mac or Linux users as well.
The signup process was a little ?buggy?. At one point it refused to let me enter my Country, instead doing this automatically and proudly saying ?this is the country we have detected you are from based on your IP address?. Great! Until I hit ?next? and it told me I had to select my country, which I couldn?t, because it had been filled in automatically. So I just closed the window and it let me continue anyway.
The lobby is very basic in terms of functionality, but serves it purpose well and displays all of the information you need. As well as players/flop% and average pot size for each table, it also shows you the maximum rake that can be taken at each level which is nice to see. Player names, stack size and lag time (a nice addition!) are also all displayed for each table without having to join.
There is a downloadable alternative of the client available, but support recommends that you use the Java based version. Personally, my web browser (Internet Explorer on Windows XP) is not the most stable application in the world. Although I don?t mind playing lower limit cash games or tournaments, I would not feel comfortable playing high stakes knowing that I am entrusting Internet Explorer not to crash on me half way through an important hand. I certainly would recommend that you do not browse other web sites whilst playing poker with the java based version (which is actually something you shouldn?t be doing anyway, concentrate on the game man!).
Even if you use the downloadable version of the client, all of the features other than gameplay such as cashier and hand history are still web based.
EuroPoker.com Poker Room Action
Action at all levels in all variants of the game, both cash and tournaments is excellent. There are usually at least 10,000 people connected and there is a good spread of these users throughout the different areas. At peak times expect to see around 20,000 players connected which guarantees action whatever your game or level.
EuroPoker's Ease of Game, Ease of Making Money, Fish Rating
Some of the plays you will see even at the medium level stakes are pretty appalling, and there is definitely plenty of easy money to be made here. This does however mean there will be plenty of sharks around but if you keep an eye out for them you should do well. If you play here and don't make a profit, go away and find where the leaks are in your game. Either that, or drop us an email with your username and let us know when you will be online!
EuroPoker Promo Code, Bonuses, and Promotions
has teamed up with FTR to offer an even better bonus for its members! By signing up through FTR, you will receive an initial deposit bonus of 100% up to $500, which is a special, exclusive promo offered only to FTR visitors! Make sure you use the links on this page and enter the EuroPoker Promo Code FTR when creating your account. This is a much improved bonus from their standard offering
of 50% up to $100! In addition to the promo code deposit bonus, you can refer a friend and earn an extra $20!
Bonuses need to be cleared in full before they are released, and this is done by earning "player points" which like most other sites are received depending on how much rake is generated for the hands that you are involved in. Detailed calculations of how the player points are awarded can be found on their website.
Be sure to fill in the Promo Code field with 'FTR' and click through one of our links to ensure you receive this promo bonus!
EuroPoker also offers daily $500 prize pool freeroll tournaments, but these fill up quickly and as you can imagine are fairly hard to place ITM due to the maniacs that freerolls invariably attract.

EuroPoker.com Customer and Technical Support
Support is by email only, and you submit your questions via a web based form. The form asks for information such as today?s date and time which it really should not need to do! It also asks you for your poker username and email, even if you have logged on, and again it should know this information. The form could be much more user friendly with a few minutes work.
When you submit your query, it says "we will contact you as soon as possible". There is no estimation or guarantee of how long it will take to receive a reply. You do not receive any confirmation of receipt of your query, or any ticket/reference number.
However, despite the confidence minimizing look and feel of the support form, it turned out to be surprisingly good. A reply was received 27 minutes later with an extremely detailed and personally written answer. It would be nice to have the comfort of live support, but the expertise and speed of reply via their email form almost makes up for the lack of this. Excellent!
