CelebPoker Highlights
-
100% Bonus up to $600 -- Automatic bonus with our links!
-
NUTS: Full ring tables can have 10 or 9 players, depends on which one you prefer. CelebPoker has very fishy BBJ tables, and a nice interface and stable software. They offer a huge signup bonus for FTR users! They have better traffic compared to other independent sites. You will also find plenty of great promotions on Celeb Poker. Tables are available in multiple currencies.
-
BEATS: CelebPoker's easy switch system only supports up to 5 tables max. Their lobby is cluttered with too many ads for their promos. Celeb Poker is also closed for US players. They have very limited HU cash game action. Bigger sites still have a ton more traffic than Celeb Poker. You cannot easily switch between mini-view and standard view.

Celeb Poker.com Overview
With the striking boom in online poker's popularity, playing online poker has sparked an interest among millions of people worldwide. Among these people are many celebrities, giving players like yourself a chance to play against them on CelebPoker. This poker room claims to have their very own devoted celebrities playing at their poker room, just waiting to be taken advantage of. :) The semi-celebrity-status players on their site are mostly European, which makes sense considering the European focus.
has recently moved to the iPoker Network. Compared to other poker rooms, particularly the independent ones, finding games on Celeb Poker shouldn't be very difficult. The only drawback to it operating on the iPoker Network is that United States players aren't allowed to play here due to recent U.S. Legislation.
Although U.S. Players aren't given a chance to play here, there are a number of dollar currency tables available. Celeb Poker is actually a good choice for international players because of the number of Euro, Pound, and other currency tables they make available.
CelebPoker.com uses the WebDollar 3rd party processor to manage all its financial transactions to and from players. All you have to do is click cashier in your CelebPoker software and you will be taken straight to the Webdollar site in a popup webpage. All you have to do next is set up a preffered payment method, and the choices you are given for this are as varied as they are plentiful.
Celebpoker, via Webdollar, accepts most major credit and debit cards to deposit money quickly and easily such as Visa, MasterCard and Maestro. Online wallets such as Moneybookers, Neteller and Click2pay are also prominently featured. More exotic options such as Moneta.Ru, PaySafeCard, Ukash and Click and Buy are also accepted. Of course, if you so desire, you can do direct bank transfers as well. Before you automatically credit your Webdollar account, Webdollar will also remind you that you can safely and easily reverse the transaction.
It's also worth mentioning that Celeb Poker offers some sweet deposit bonuses, including reload bonuses. Simply put, their promotional offers are nothing short of satisfying. Among their ridiculous amount of freerolls, deposit bonuses, satellites and qualifiers, you won't be disappointed.
Celeb Poker.com Software Interface/Usability
The interface is clean, sharp, and easy to navigate. The lobby has easy to read button tabs providing a straight-forward operation that won't leave you scratching your head. After taking a moment to soak it all in, you'll be able to find your way around their software without a problem.
One of the first things you may notice is the player info section located in the upper right-hand of the lobby. This box shows your account balance, frequent player points, tournament credits, any pending bonuses, a clock, and it also tells you how many players are currently online. We love this feature because it centralizes a lot of the information that you're constantly checking. Who wants to go searching for this information every time you're looking for it? It's a great thing to be able to glance at the lobby and get this info.
Also located in the upper-right hand of the lobby is five table tabs. This option may come in handy for those players who find themselves multi-tabling often. You can click on any tab, 1 through 5, to view the corresponding table. It may be just as easy to switch between tables using the Windows task bar, but many players have found 's option to be useful. Filter options are provided to help you better find games that suit your needs, but the options are slim and you can't filter games as narrowly as you can on some other poker rooms. An overwhelming amount of traffic isn't a problem on this poker room, so scrolling down to find a particular game is almost just as easy.
CelebPoker's software also allows you to run it in full screen mode. I kind of liked the way it made the lobby look and how it made me feel like I was playing an old computer game. In a way it could make you forget you were playing online at all. Even though it was slightly amusing, I wouldn't recommend playing in full screen because you'd miss out on the task bar, and many people do other things while they play poker.
The cashier window works fast and flawlessly. At first, using it can be intimidating, because when you click on the "cashier" button it will simply pop up a browser page of WebDollar, which is the 3d party payment processor CelebPoker uses. The WebDollar interface can feel a little clunky at first, but after clicking around a bit and familiarize yourself with it, using it will be a breeze.
CelebPoker.com Poker Room Action
The Sit n Gos at are fairly populated. Games don't fill up nearly as fast as other poker rooms such as PokerStars or Full Tilt, but it doesn't take more than a few minutes to get a table full and ready for play. You can choose between full tables which have 10 players, or short-handed with 5 players. Heads Up games also see a lot of action on CelebPoker. There was a long line of running heads up matches including all game types. Blinds raise every 10 minutes in the SnGs, and the payout structure is the typical 50/30/20. We really enjoyed the SnG action on CelebPoker because they weren't too fast or too slow. A downside to their Sit n Gos is that they don't offer a turbo option, or any other special conditions.
Ring games at CelebPoker are well organized, just like the tournaments. They feature the typical stakes from micro to very high stakes for all the high rollers. You can find HU, 5-handed, 6-handed, 9-handed and 10-handed tables to play at your discretion. Celebpoker has also recently added 6-handed and 9-handed Bad Beat Jackpot (BBJ) tables at various levels. One word of warning however is that the ring game HU tables are not nearly as popular on CelebPoker as on other bigger sites. Also, keep in mind that the tables are available in multiple currencies, and these currencies are converted from your account on the fly, using the daily rate which would apply at the time you choose to play.
CelebPoker's Ease of Game, Ease of Making Money, Fish Rating
The players at come in all shapes and sizes. At the higher stakes, (10/20) +, the players are on their game and for the most part know what they are doing. At the regular stakes, and in $5-$20 SnGs, and .50/1.00 rings, the players are very fishy overall. Sitting at the 5max $0.5/1.00 table is a goldmine if you can withstand a couple bad beats here and there. The players are call-stations and typical fish. You will win and crush this game if you know how to play correctly against these players. SNGs and tournaments are also equally fishy. Altogether, CelebPoker is a great place to grind a bankroll.

Celeb Poker.com Customer and Technical Support
has a great customer support system in place. As a test, we inquired about something during odd hours, and got responded back via email within half an hour, despite live chat being down. Needless to say, CelebPoker passed the test with flying colors.
They provide all the most popular support avenues and cover them well, complete with 24/7 Live Chat Support, email, website FAQ and help, and email. They also provide telephone numbers but you must find these by going to their website and searching for them because they're not located within the game client like the other methods. The FAQ covers issues such as deposits, withdrawals, house rules and policies, security and encryption, and more contact information. In short, their customer support is very fast to respond and we haven't had any trouble with it whatsoever.

Where are the celebs? LOL! Doesn't
matter tho, Boss Network is fishy and
with an added rakeback, this is a good
place to make some money at the lower
stakes. Rake is automatically refunded
into your player account, so that's
very nice. Interface is attractive and
intuitive. Action is a little weak.
The real benefits are fish and the
rakeback... what else does a low stakes
player need!!

I was playing at SportingBet before, but
have switched to CelebPoker for the
rakeback, which is part of the same
network (same players). Even at the
$1/$2 tables, where I generally play
5-max, the players are pretty bad. Seek
out the European and Turkish players and
destroy. Not much action in the higher
NL ring games, but I imagine the lower
stakes are very easy, and you'll always
find a good ring game. The MTT
start-times are sparse, and the SnGs
require a bit of waiting to fill up, but
the tourneys at the $20 and below levels
are not too tough. Interface is nice and
simple and play is fairly fast.

Great interface, easy to use and sharp.
It's pretty easy to find a ring game,
the sngs aren't as populated but you
can get one going in not too long of
time. Customer support is decent and
where it should be. Nothing spectacular.
There are alot of fish here especially
at normal .5/1 stakes. Great
promotions, right now there is a 200%
deposit bonus up to $500!
