NUTS: Canbet is on the Microgaming network, which has a very large player base. Lots of players generally translate into lots of bad players, so you should not have a problem finding good games there. The software is very nice and easy to use. Canbet offers a wide variety of deposit and withdrawal options. They also offer a Bad Beat Jackpot, which can attract some really bad players who are just trying to get lucky.

Canbet Poker Overview
Canbet started out as an online sportsbook and, like many other online sportsbooks, they had decided to branch out into a casino and a poker room. At first, the Canbet Poker room had some of the softest seats around - the player per flop ratio at the medium stakes Texas Hold’em N/L tables was a crazy 60%! This was not surprising since Canbet Poker was part of the Boss Media Network (CelebPoker, FortunePoker), which is known for its loose players and high fish rating. However, Canbet recently moved to the Microgaming Network, so the super loose games are a little fewer and farther between. However, with the new network they have more than 10 times the number of players as before and, with more players, you will always be able to find good games.

Canbet Poker Software Interface/Usability
The Canbet interface has both good and bad points. Let’s start with the good: the software runs very smoothly. It didn’t have any problems with lagging or being disconnected. Also, the cards and chips look fairly real plus the cards are nice and big, making it easy on the eyes. There are some nice features while playing at the table, particularly the hand history feature. Your hand histories are stored locally on your hard drive, so all you have to do is hit the “hand history” button and it shows everything instantly (much like Party Poker).
Navigating through the cash game tables is confusing because the limits are listed in different currencies (look at the lobby picture). But, aside from that, Canbet's interface is pretty good.
Canbet Poker Room Action
Canbet has recently joined the Microgaming Network, which is one of the largest non-US networks in the world. During peak hours (early afternoon EST) there will regularly be over 20,000 players logged on.
Most of the action is going to be at the No-limit Hold'em tables, generally mid-stakes and lower. However, there are usually some higher stakes games going at the €10/€20 and €25/€50 levels.
Canbet Poker Ease of Game, Ease of Making Money, Fish Rating
Many of the players at Canbet are absolutely horrible - they get their bankrolls from the nice freerolls they offer. They take the money to the cash games and lose it all and go back to the freerolls. So you can make money pretty easily there.
The tourneys are extremely soft, especially if you play the low buy-ins. But you can also make money at the guaranteed tourneys because they have such a nice blind structure for the rocks. The $4k and $8k guarantees are nice with only 100-300 people in them.
There are fish swimming all over Canbet, you just need to go and reel them in!
