Default Hit set, Get it in, and VOMIT

The guy that calls down was like 80 10 over 200 hands. I posted results b/c i almost threw up in my mouth when i saw this.

    Merge Network $0.02/$0.04 No Limit Hold'em - 8 players

    SB: $5.87
    BB: $2.64
    UTG: $6.22
    Hero (UTG+1): $4.08
    MP1: $4.00
    MP2: $4.03
    CO: $3.20
    BTN: $3.21

    Pre Flop: ($0.06) Hero is UTG+1 with 8 8
UTG raises to $0.12, Hero calls $0.12, 1 fold, MP2 calls $0.12, CO calls $0.12, BTN calls $0.12, 1 fold, BB calls $0.08

    Flop: ($0.74) Q 7 8 (6 players)
BB checks, UTG bets $0.49, Hero raises to $1.43???, MP2 folds, CO calls $1.43, BTN folds, BB folds, UTG folds

    Turn: ($4.09) 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.53 all in, CO calls $1.65 all in

    River: ($8.27) 5 (2 players - 2 are all in)

My Flop bet is really what I have a question about. You guys have beat it in to me to raise larger when you hit, but with this many people in a hand is this the optimal play here? I just want to make sure i am doing this right. Also I never posted results before b/c I see that others do not... is it ok to post results??

nobody cares about results, it just makes you look like an emotional fish getting all wrapped up in the drama of results. Your goal every session should be to focus all your mental energies on making correct plays, getting reads, and other things that are +EV. Throwing up in your mouth is not one of these things, and anyone who's been playing for a little longer than you will not be surprised or impressed that an 80/10 shows up with J6o here.

Hand is played fine, this belongs in tilt. I think I'll move it there now.

doesnt matter about posting results, either way. as far as the hand goes, u played it good sizing is ok. if you lost then its a cooler and chalk it up to variance. cant do a whole lot when you flop mid set except get the money in, QQ is unlikely as you would of heard from him preflop or after you raised, he either has 77,T9,69,56 give he flatted on the flop after you raised a cbet. those are usually the stone cold nuts or drawsn multiway pots.

Make a note, right click over his name, search him out (this adds him to your search list, which I call my shitlist), and hunt him down in future, looking to sit in position on his tables. This guy is your friend.

Best advice for a beginning player.
