you actually made a really great defense post IMO, i just think it might of been a bit too late the village seemed like they had there mind set. i was honestly going to say it was weird how unified the village was against you right from the start of the day, which probably meant you were probably not a wolf but obv its easier to see in hindsight.

also this was pretty much every villager's list minus me for you, we just hit the 25% chance of not getting a wolf.

I kinda dropped the ball this game.. but ong was very sharp. I did set out the initial plans. They kinda worked. b/c it is prolly why u lynched philly.

Grats mafia. As pointed out I heavily imba'ed the game towards the mafia. Game is usually imba'ed to the village so gotta switch it up.

Apologies again this was my first time modding and I obviously did not do a too great of a job. Feel free to say it as I deserve it. If I ever mod again I'll try to do a much better job as I've learned from a few mistakes.

Thanks for modding Bikes, I appreciate anyone who takes the time and effort to mod the game, and as it is the first time there are bound to be some glyches, other then the confusion with the roles prior to game start I think you did an OK job

As you said yourself I think that the game was heavily unbalanced towards the mafia team, I think that when the mod decides on the roles he/she must take into account the number of players, less players means shorter game which is better for the wolves, larger fields favor the villagers, special roles should be used to balance it out a bit

Regarding the special roles in this game:
Judge was a nice addition and I think it is worth another try, its value is in situation like the one that happens at end game here, the only problem is that is does not fit well into the night/day cycle

I did not like the priest role, I dont think random lookups help the game

Dentist role was OK, I think it needs to be modified and not allow to silence a person for more then 1 dayin a row (maybe even limit it to allow silencing any player only once in the game

One last thing - I think an angel role is kind of a must in the game, without angel it is pretty much impossible for special roles to out themselves, which is a big part of the game

Well played wolves, didn't really put a foot wrong the entire game. I think having random lookups makes things too much of a crapshoot, Judge was a good role though.

Btw the rilla nom was obvious (first thing I said on skype), was funny to watch a shitstorm lateron because the other wolf team had had the same idea (the ldo idea).

The benny silencing, I wasn't sure who to silence.. he talks a lot so it would seem like a good setup for a lynch lateron (which never happened). My other choice was TLR b/c I thought he'd be the one to figure me out first but we just let him be. When Will outed we silenced Gator, then bikes bended the rules which pretty nearly caused us to lose XD.

Btw I wouldn't mind playing again under these rules. I mean we almost lost if you didn't go for philly, the ONE villager under suspicion.

Only change so the dentist can only silence once every other day, or never the same person he did the previous game. Usually it's heavily in favor of the village (winrate must be 75%+). So this is prolly more balanced. With some small tweaks and probably a bigger playing field.

Kinda annoyed I didn't act on Ong not sulking. On the one hand, it was taking advantage of info from the games that didn't happen but on the other hand, I figured it said something and should have used it to build a better case.

I've been busy too this game, as you know, I disappeared for several days at a time and was restricted to making quick posts from friend's houses on ps3s and shit. We got very lucky, I was outside having a smoke when gator bolded philly, my sis was on the laptop and skype was beeping... luckily she told me that banana was trying to contact me... he posted his vote before I was ready, so I threw my vote in super quick, and gator then rescinded like 30 seconds later. We so nearly got trapped.

I'd have argued my case against this accusation, honestly. My roles for the four games were wolf - judge - villager - wolf. I pretended to be annoyed when I got the judge role to look like a villager, but fact is I like playing WW, and I'm not gonna sulk, and I don't intend to give bikes a hard time for fucking up when he's got much more important things to stress about. I'd have been interested if I were a villager, that's the truth. In fact, after one day of being a wolf, I was telling the others I prefer being a villager! I was a bad wolf for a day, I think I settled into it after day one and played much better, though still plenty of room to improve. I enjoyed this game greatly.

And thanks bikes for modding. Sorry it was a bit messy on day one, the not talking about previous roles was very tricky once a previous wolf partner of mine aimed for me. I guess I was paranoid he saw how many contacts I had on skype (2), knowing I had only just installed it and that I had removed him after the first game collapsed. And he knew how badly I wanted rilla gone. I reacted badly, I should've been more collected and just shrugged hoopy's comments off. I was very lucky that no-one really saw it as wolfy, I think my habit of posting crap helped me out there. But you did a good job of modding in the end, the roles were great. Agree we should try these again, tweaking the dentist role so the same person cannot be silenced two days running. I did feel for benny, it would've annoyed me had I been silenced like that!

Nice . We shoulda exchanged phone numbers for this occassion though, you know by now I'm mostly online at work (lol).. I could have gotten to a PC real quick at the crucial time if I had gotten a call, so even if Gator rescined in time we'd still have made it. Good it worked out tho ^^

Oh wilbur, your reaction to lolz's outing put you as number one priest suspect, banana called that one pretty quick. Up until then, you did a very good job of protecting yourself from us.

It surprised me that not one single villager thought he could still be the judge. I don't know if I'd have considered it if I were a villager, guess it's just instinctive to think he's a wolf. But if he was a wolf, why didn't he fake out the night before? I nearly pointed this out to give me villager cred, but I realised it could backfire and do the opposite, while making the village realise that having lolz 1st wilbur 2nd in votes was terrible for the village. I figured it was much more optimal for the wolves to just go along with the "lolz is a wolf ldo" line.

yea i'm not sure why we didn't go back to this, looking back it looks a lot like a paranoid wolf. its funny how clear things seem after.

And fulksy... I figured you were the vig when hoopy got shot. I don't know about this for sure, I'd be interested to see what the regs say about this, but I believe it's a better vig strategy to mislead the village a with your suspicions, because it misleads the wolves and keeps you hidden. Once I figured you were the vig, I wasn't in any hurry to nominate you for the nom, since you weren't giving me a hard time. I didn't think I was going to get shot. If you had been dishonest about your reads, it would've been difficult to pin the hoopy shot to you, and I would've been more paranoid about getting shot. Just a thought really, it's how I played the vig role but I still managed to fuck that up, I hit 2 villagers and 1 wolf, and the village lost, so I could be wrong.

Add something cool like the double seer, but one gets a random result (based on the % of wolves) on each of his lookups. Ofcourse neither knows if they are the real one.

Yeah, anyone can mod. Just make the wolves handle their meetings offsite and conduct all your correspondence in normal pm or over email and you're fine.

I'm working on what I think will be a very exciting format where the only same roles are reg villagers and reg wolves. Dunno how imbalanced it would be, but probably would work with like 20+ players
