    Yeah I was reading up on the miller role on MS and it's actually pro village if he knows his role and so does the village.

    I'm a bit confused about the Tough Guy.

    Tough Guy gets nommed. Tough Guy lives for 24 hours.

    So the village has a living confirmed villager, but only for 1 day, and the Tough guy dies the next night automatically?

    Just finished a long game where lolwillage almost blew a bigger lead than this game.

    D1 - lynched a power role wolf
    N1 - I was odd-night vig and shot a wolf
    N1 - seer nommed
    we lead 9-1

    village then proceeds to systemically lynch everyone who lynched the wolf D1
    we won at f3 tho
    Playing big pots at small stakes.

    true but I think there's room for a vig in a 13-player game, if you get 15 or so you can certainly do that and a 1-time wolf vig. full vig, full angel and full seer in a 13-man game is overpowered imo.

    an interesting twist I saw was a game with lots of roles and a variable seer. i.e., even nights you get affiliation lookup (n0-2-4) of wolf or village. Odd nights you get role lookup (vanilla, vig, roleblocker, etc). it nerfs the seer a tad, and it means the wolves can spend a night or two doing things other than seer hunting.

    also when you have a wolf special, it makes bussing a bit more complicated.

    Rules
    1) To be eligible, Mod a ww game in 2015
    2) The game must have an uniformed majority and at least one informed minority, the game having at least 9 players. Fancy rules/roles are acceptable.
    3) Any player who has played in at least 3 games of 2015 may vote for best mod
    4) In the case of a tie, the non-tied mods vote to break the tie. (If you still tie, fuck off)
    5) Blackmail or otherwise weasel a supermod into granting the winner the title of "Cool WW Title" (To be Determined)

    Sounds cool to me. And should make the 2015 games more exciting.

    How to balance games:
    1) If in village's favor, the give wolves players or give wolves powers or take away villager powers
    2) If in wolf's favor, then give villagers players, or give villagers powers, or take away wolf powers

    Its pretty easy peasy. The only complication is too many powers = lol mass claim. A mass claim is bad here, because only a few people are brazenly reckless enough to fake claim...so our wolves are generally less experienced at it and more likely to stumble during a mass claim. (Theyre bad at laying hints for being seers/vigs/angels too so a fake claim is believed).

    I prefer simple games.

    24 real time hours. So with the 48hr days I was planning he would last until halfway through the day. If we did 72hr days he'd last 36hrs.

    Mass claim pfft. That's a mod problem that is easily dealt with by giving wolves viable safeclaims. Next game I mod will probably be another role madness one because noone cares about balance, we all want to have fun and I really enjoyed modding the world war game.

    I think mods have their own style (obv). Some stuff I do as a mod I wouldn't recommend for others, and there's some stuff other mods have done that I tend to avoid. It's all about where your comfort and confidence lies
