PokerRoom Sit-n-go

6 people left...I get screwed by a guy sucking out an inside straight over my two pair. Leaves me with 305 dollars. Blinds are 100-50 and I am one off the blind. Next hand, I get TT...all in, one caller with two over cards. My tens hold up. Next hand AK, allin again...I draw a king and beat the guy with pocket 8s. Few hands later I double up again with queens.

I won the whole thing later on when I sucessfully sniffed out an all-in bluff.

damn these pokerstars tourneys are making vcpoker look like chump change

i've won 1st in a $350 and $250 freeroll

various final table finishes in other freerolls / cheap buyin tourneys. I'm FINALLY beginning to destroy $5,$10 STT games, placing in the money pretty much 3 out of 4 games.

PokerStars Tournament #5833037, No Limit Hold'em
Super Satellite
Buy-In: $10.00/$1.00
241 players
Total Prize Pool: $7510.00
Target Tournament #5647765 Buy-In: $215.00
34 tickets to the target tournament
Tournament started - 2005/03/12 - 20:00:00 (ET)

Dear Operandi,

You finished the tournament in 1st place.
You qualified to play in Tournament #5647765 and are automatically registered for it.
---

On a side note:

This was a turbo tournament, the blinds rose every 5 minutes.

We're on the bubble, 36 players remaining, hand for hand play is active, 35th place pays $200, 34th and above a $215 ticket to the target tournament.

Blinds $12000/$6000, ante $600, I'm in the big blind with $20952 prior to posting. The level is going up very soon. I should be able to make it (I can take $12000+$6000 and probably survive until at least one other player busts out) if it weren't for the fact that people at my table constantly get disconnected and that hand for hand play is causing a lag.

I get dealt [5c 9h].

Everybody folds to the small blind who's sitting on a $70117 stack. He calls.

The flop comes [Qs 2d 7s]

The small blind bets $12000, I fold.

The blinds go up to $20000/$10000, ante $1000...

...Still 36 players remaining...

I'm all in in the small blind with $7352.

I get dealt [5h 9c] (59 again!...).

Everybody except the big blind folds.

He turns over [Tc Th].

*** FLOP *** [9s Kh 9d]
*** TURN *** [9s Kh 9d] [As]
*** RIVER *** [9s Kh 9d As] [Jh]

Poker in it's truest form...

You finished the tournament in 6th place.

First final table ever on pokerstars and earned $231 from a $3 buyin. Maaaad props go out to rippy who was kind enough to give me a call and help me through it from medium stack to small stack to big stack and back again. Even if I didn't win it all, the experience was extremely educational. I feel like writing more but I desperately need sleep...thanks again rip (if he offers to call any of you up and walk you through a tourny, accept without hesitation).

After tearing up SnGs for about 3 weeks now, I played my first MTT in months and made my first ever final table.

Site: Absolute
Buy-in: $5+$1
Number Entrants: 134
Place: 3rd
Winnings: $79

It was survival poker all the way as I seemed to never have more than 10x bb with mountains of chips in the seats to my left.

Mike got 3rd in the 10 R&a last night for something like 4k.

I fted the sandbar on pearl 25$ buy in 276 people and got tenth. Chip leader was a maniac and was getting suckout after suckout, and called my alll in with crap and hit so I was gone. I think the prize was like 76 dollars lol, sucked for all that worked and good play I put in.

just took 3rd of 269 in $25 freezeout on paradise for $673 payout. was short stacked and went all-in with A3off, Q6s monster stack called, rivered his K high rivered his K high straight, would have had a decent stack if i could have avoided the river and probably had a good shot at winning because this huge stack was a complete idiot who kept getting hand after hand after hand at the final table and was fish and limped with all sorts of K7off, etc. oh well, 3rd isn't bad, still looking for that first top 2, and preferably first win.
