This is beginning middle of a 1300 person MTT. How did I play this hand. I really think the first big bet was appropriate to get rid of the flush draws, but how did I play once I had the nuts?

personally I would have kept the bet smaller on the turn and let them get their flush or straight, probably coulda got a few more $$. they both called %25 (or so) of their stack on the flop, to me thats an obvious draw with a flat call of 5x the BB. but good hand.

the turn play was bad. either check or bet the same amount you bet on flop.

You don't have the nuts... quad 3s is the nuts here.

I would have bet less on the flop, but somehow you managed to get a lot of callers. I'd bet less on the flop, then check the turn like it scared you.

Flop play was good, protecting that set.

On the turn you probably are dead certain to win the pot, I may make a lower bet (quarter pot size) to make you more callable (or hopefully raisable).

 yeah the question is which is more suspicious here, a check or betting 1/4-1/3 PS? Check might say "I like my hand but I didn't think BOTH of you would call!" hmmm.... 500 is 1/4 PS which is going to be tough to resist if they are on the draw, even with a pair out, and it's the same bet you made on the flop, which sort of looks weak.... but I think check is the way to go. If these guys make their draws on the river they are going to pay off after paying that much to chase. If not and if one of them has say 99 they are going to be forced to think they have the best hand if the draws miss and may pay you off their too.

I also like the play on the flop, just too many draws on that board.
