Was that way too much? I was pretty frustrated at the time.

Ummmm yea, that was way too much. As for villian's hand, this is an $11 +$1 so he could have ANY of the following: A's - J's, 9's, 7s', T8s, 85s, or just total CRAP.

I am going to guess that he called your monster pre-flop raise with T8s.

8T of hearts and now that I've posted it (really in the wrong spot too) I'm feeling pretty stupid about it. This one just set me off for some reason.

    Sorry for venting

    66 doesn't really justify 7bet pf.

Just limp preflop and see if you hit a set. Once you hit a set you're going broke and even if he flopped the straight you've got 7 outs on the turn and 10 on the river to suck out.

As played, I don't like checking when you flop a set. You raised preflop, make a standard c-bet and hope that he calls or shoves over.

I second tai's post. I have a question, what prompted you to raise so much? Did you go on tilt after another hand?
