    Default Timed SnGs / MTTs?

Has anyone had any experience with timed tournaments?

They are set to run for a specific time (15, 30, 60 minutes) and at the end your chips are counted and payout is given to everyone remaining based on stack size, top weighted as usual.

To clarify, if there were two people left and payout was 70% for first and 30% for second, you would only need one more chip than your opponent to take that 70% home.

It's an interesting format, but I'm not sure on strategy. Obv going out is undesirable but the person in last will receive <1BI so you have to accumulate chips to get a +ve ROI.

    Thoughts?

I think the payout is directly proportional to your stack

I have played a few but they were 30/60 minutes, blinds are very high so they basically force you to play, I think that the main difference is once you have a stack there is more value in conserving it, so there is less big stack bullying
