I've read a few times about a tight table is generally a pretty easy table as obviously you can assign ranges quite easily.
But recently in a $10 on Stars we still had 8 players left at 75 / 150 which is ridiculous.
Apart from one player on around 33/20 everyone else was like 15/7 or thereabouts.
So as a lot of strategy mentions - it's correct to open more pots, steal more blinds etc and slow down when they come back at you.
But is this a good idea when you are getting nothing?
For example I was getting playable hands (i.e. if called) but only in mid positions such as 10Js etc but only pure trash in late position.
So should I just ignore my cards and just punish these guys in position hoping they wont play back at me or still wait for something playable incase I'm looked up?
This has come up more often recently. Admittedly not 8 players at this level but fairly often 6 players that are obviously pretty tight..

Hard to answer in general. Why not trim the tourney and post it and we'll take a look?

JTs MP vs tighties is easy raise, that isn't ignoring your cards. Probably in all SNGs but for sure at a table like this I would raise 2.5 BBs or less, at 75/150 & 100/200 min raise is a good option.
you can to the math on what you should be raising with assumming you have two 15/7s in the blinds on your BU.

I agree with drmcboy if you've got say a 2000+ stack at these blinds but what if you're short at these levels, maybe 900-1500 at 100/200. I'm not raising with JTs in MP with 4M. This has happened quite a lot recently with me especially in GMT evening time when a lot of the US regulars are on, if I'm multitabling I generally get one of these tables a session and I am as clueless as the OP in how to deal with them.
