PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t1000 (9 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

MP2 (t3340)
MP3 (t9926)
CO (t14243)
Button (t16540)
SB (t10320)
Hero (t4030)
UTG (t33489)
UTG+1 (t10306)
MP1 (t11619)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4, K.
7 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (t2300) J, 8, 9 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

Turn: (t2300) K (2 players)
SB bets t1000, I guess push?

Blinds are 500/1000/100, 27 left, 22 get seats. Avg stack is 10500. I have no idea how sb plays, just moved to his table when we hit 27 players.

I can count on one hand the amount of satellites I've played so not quite sure... I also might have missed a couple push spots earlier... Just a random question, say I had the same stack and it folded to me in the co what should I be pushing with? Assume donkish blinds with around 7k-10k stacks.

Edit - I'm 24/27

Ok wow, remind me to never play these again, here's 3 more hands that I folded, should I have pushed any? Notice my seat, one to my left is the chip leader who is playing 100% of hands trying to end this, I think that makes these folds? If he wasn't there still fold?

Hand 1 - 26 left, I'm 21/26

Shouldn't you push AKs, and JJ since you're about to blind bust? I get folding if you've got 6BB or something.

The AKs hand might definitely be a push, I just expected to get called from the big stack 90%+, so I wussed out and folded. He was calling shoves with 93s so my 90%+ really isn't out of line. I only needed 2 more players to bust, and in a $22 sat there are a lot of stupid people with 10k stacks who will call all-ins with QK, etc. I had about 17 hands until I was blinded off so decided to wait it out. I'm 66/33 against 90%, but if I do push and double I win a seat 100%. I'm really not sure what the best play is...

The JJ I think is an easier fold since only 1 more person has to bust and I have 9 hands. Also if I put it in I'm probably against 2 hands since the sb/bb will check down.

If you are dead last you can't be folding those last 2. People are waiting for YOU to bust.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

Maybe if everyone was a competent player, but they definitely weren't. Many people still play their hand like it's an MTT, and will call shoves with 66, 88, QK, etc etc, when they are guaranteed a seat. Also I was 20/24 with the AKs hand, if it matters.

So am I a donk for folding AKs?

i'm probably shoving all of these, as you cant last as long as you think you can with your stack in the turbos. If you double up though I'm folding the rest.
