I'm fairly sure these games at low stakes will be profitable for a solid player, because there's a high % of gamblers who only enter in the hope of binking a huge prize pool, and play dumb if it's a minimum. So a decent player should have a huge edge in the majority of games, and when it's serious then ev is through the roof.

If one can aim to win 1/2 of min prize games, then we're freerolling in the larger prize pools. Assuming villains are spazzing in min games, I think 1/2 is a reasonable target.

I'd say winning half of your games isn't even close to reasonable.

These things should be avoided like the plague for anything apart from pure fun.

Well so long as it's over 33% winrate then who cares. 50% is a nice target because it means we're freerolling when the stakes are higher, but it's not a necessary target because we can expect to win at least 1/3 of the bigger games so long as we feel we have an edge at the stakes we play. I haven't played nearly enough of them for a reliable sample but the standard is significantly weaker at $1 stakes where the prize is $2 compared to when it's a larger prize, so a winrate between 40-50% in mingames, and 35% in bigger games, that seems reasonable to me.

Wow good to know someone got a good prizepool in one of these

I used their deposit code SPIN5 and got four $1 tickets, and one $3 ticket. I got three $2 PP, one $4 PP, and the $3 prize pool was $12. I won 4 out of those 5 including the big one. So a little deposit gave me $20

In the long run however, I'm not sure that they will be profitable.

I played a handful of these last night and ran good with prize pool (mostly 2x and 3x), and won most. Most people are simply gambling at $1 stakes. If you're playing a solid short handed turnbo game, you're going to shit all over the field. I think $1 is easily profitable due simply to the sheer number of fish playing them.

I agree, and from what you build up of winning on $1, you can move up to $3. If you are a good HU player, then these are good for you, as from my experience, the first player goes out real soon.

I have no intention of playing these games at higher stakes than a dollar. I'm arguing that the gamblers make it profitable. I think the vast majority of fish will be playing the dollar games, because it's a cheap gamble. There will still be fish at higher stakes ofc, but even as low as $3 I think that the mingames are going to be so -ev that the variance is gonna be absolutely brutal and I'm not sure what kind of BRM we need to be employing to cope.

This isn't going to become my new grind. This is a bit of fun.

    QFT

Someone did some math on these and the number of games you need as a reasonable sample size is something outrageous.

I don't like too much Spin&Go but I get good results.

Sometimes I play Spin&Go 7$ and in 10 tournaments there is at least 1 with 42$ to the winner (especially if you play on weekend between 20:00 and 23:00 WET).
In the beggining of the October month I play a 3$ Spin&Go and I won 3000$. That was the best that I get.
