You called all-in with a draw on hand 9?

I see a lot of pre-flop poker, willing to take the worst of it 2:3 being offset by all the times you steal.

Hand 1: What's your plan on the flop? Would you have still folded if you didn't disconnect?
Hand 2: Disconnected? Easy limp.
Hand 9: Well played.
Hand 19: Why the over-bet on the flop? I'm concerned about information leakage, would you bet KK like that?
Hand 23: I understand making these steals with position, but out of position with small blinds why are you opening up?
Hand 32: Easy to trap yourself here.
Hand 36: Interesting flop over-bet
Hand 37: Any reason to go 4x here?
Hand 40: Nice re-steal, how often do you get away with these?
Hand 42: I like this play a lot
Hand 44: *shakes head* Why do they always call me with an Ace here...
Hand 45: Why all-in and not 3x or 4x?
Hand 46: I don't like this push. KJs plays poorly all-in but it a great hand to take a flop with. Also, being first to act could work in your advange with silly blinds because you're first to make a bet that probably can't be called.
Hand 47: Why are you playing all-in pre-flop poker against a BB that has half of your stack covered?
Hand 48: Interesting call
Hand 51: Interesting call, why not push here?
Hand 67: You've already established a wild image, so I see no point to this play.

you butchered hand 51 with the AK and reraising all your stack with KJs was weak sauce IMO. Most of the other hands look pretty good, your style of playing would work well in turbos and fast blind structures.

Lets first assert:
We want to maximize our chance to win.
To maximize our chance to win we want to maximize our chance to get chips from him.
This isn't a "freeroll", if he doubles through us we've given up an advantage.
Any disagreement here?

Lets consider:
72o wins 35% against a random hand
But he won't call with a random hand...
72o wins 32% vs AKo
72o wins 28% vs 55
72o wins 11% vs 88

Folding has an expection of 0
Stealing gets us 1300
Lets say we win 30% of the time if he calls, then we expect to win (7120 * 2 * .3) 4272 at a cost of 6670. An expection of -2398

Let s be our steal % and solve for the break even point
1300 * s + (-2398 * (1-s)) > 0
1300s -2398 + 2398s > 0
3698s > 2398
s > 0.64

He must fold more than 64% of the time for that steal to have a positive expection.

Hmmm... interesting...

I still think it's a pass but it's really close.

edit2: I can't fucking do math today. Closer than I thought...

pantherhound is on a distinguished road
you have a lot of balls, and its got you some great success.

To call the relentless bludgeoning 'perfection' though...

DISCLAIMER: I, A NOBODY, AM NOT HAVING A PERSONAL ATTACK ON RIPPY MERELY QUESTIONING HIS DEFINITION OF 'PERFECTION'

I find it awesome that you won with 72o shortly after I won with AA. I asked previously if there could be a better finish to an SnG than getting your opp to go all-in while you held AA. I think you achieved this. Nice

Hand 5:
Wow, on the button, one of the best spec hands in the game. Ive been lately loosening up my starting game a lot, with good results. Are you ever calling drawing hands at this point in the tourney? With more callers for example?

Hand 17:
Why no bet? Give him 2 cards to suck out on you when hes come in showing nothing but weakness?

Hand 27, 28:
Damn block that girls chat haha.

Hand 36:
I agree with this play, but preflop battles like this I usually seem to lose.

Hand 51:
I simply dont understand this. Why do you call here then check the river? Surely a checkraised river bluff will be seen through. Do you think your A9 will be good and he wont bet 5th street?

Hand 52:
Personally I really dont agree here. Your not even VPIP, and definitely not desperate. You cant outplay him postflop here, so your basically just praying for a coinflip? Or are you confident enough to take that hit to your stack with the possible reward?

The ending:
Are you pushing all in here because of the table dynamics and players? Or is this how you usually finish a tournament?

Thanks for this, I agree with a great deal of it, and feel quite educated on your style of play and how it differs to my own. (Im a lot looser and a lot more passive in first position)
