I'd probably c/c at this stage - call a small(ish) bet and fold to a larger one. If you bet, you might fold out some baby flushes but you'll also fold out a bunch of hands that you beat.

Great time for the slightly long pause check to make him wonder if you're considering what to do with your flush. I agree, check call depeding on how convincing his bet is.
