Default Putting the regs on tilt (Sng related).

So in a cash game it's usually great if your opponent is on tilt.

Would you rather have a regular at your typical games be
    a. an 18/15 abc player who has flaws but wins overall
    b. that same guy on tilt playing more aggressively perhaps gunning for you specifically

[edited to actually get to the point]

It doesn't matter what you do to a mass multi table guy, that's what makes them mass multi table guys.

This had nothing to do with tilting him and everything to do with how awesome you are.

No I seriously question whether he will now play back at me, actually shove into me wider, etc. But I suppose I see your point about him mass tabling. Still he went out of his way to berate me. Maybe I should have let him stay weak / passive

Super aggressive guys in cash are easier to take advantage of but in an sng that's harder due to bubble / icm / etc.

If you think this is pointless you can lock it if you'd like.

If there's a player at your table, who's playing worse than he usually does, then in the long term that's good for you, because that leaves a slightly bigger share of the prize pool for you.
Over short term, however, it can have a negative effect, for instance if he gets a seat on your left and decides to start making stupid wide spite calls against you.

Meh, I pissed off a few regs in my time and it's not worth it. I remember calling a shove with T7s, which was -EV. The thing was it was marginally -EV. Given his shoving range I think the appropriate calling range was T8s or something like that, but he just couldn't see it that way. And trying to explain only made it worse.

He spite-called me on every single table we were playing on, even though the obvious appropriate action would be for him to adjust his shoving range into us. By trying to force him to adjust, I induced him to adjust the wrong way and ended up damaging my own equity in future hands against him.

I stirred up a hornets nest for probably very little future value. The mass-tabling regs will still shove the same range into you anyway and I ended up making a powerful enemy who probably still has some dumb note on me.

The trick is to call wide enough to encourage the villain not to shove ATC, but not wide enough to make him go crazy.
