It's been a few months since we've done one of these, so it's probably time for another one, particularly given the earlier thread asking for one.
For those of you who haven't played in one of these before, basically what we do is set up a private $5.50 tourney on Stars with 9 players. After the tourney is over we all make comments on the HH then some poor soul (ie. me) puts all the HHs with hole cards and comments together and posts it. We then have (usually quite a lively!) discussion about the tourney after the event to discuss the plays.
All are welcome, including old and new players.
Tourney format is 15 minute blind levels (I can't get Stars to use a turbo format, believe me I've tried!) and we will need to sit out for the first 5 minutes as for some reason the tourney starts on 2 tables but the tables do join thereafter.
Time of day is a bit of an issue but I might propose the following time on Tuesday 24th June:
- 1pm US PST
- 4pm US EST
- 9pm London
- 10pm CET
- 6am Australian East Coast (Wednesday 25th June)
If you are interested, please post in this thread and I will add you to the list. If there is a consensus for another time or date we can shift it.
There has also been a request to hold the tourney on FT. If there is a preference for FT rather than Stars, please let me know and I can try to arrange it. I can also do a funds transfer for anybody who needs a funds transfer from Stars to FT.

I'm in. I'm not really sure what those times translate to for my time zone but as soon as you know what time it's gonna be held just let me know i suppose , i'm sure i won't have much of a problem making it any time , so long as it's not the crack of dawn detroit time!
If it's held on FT i will need to transfer funds.

No, I think you can set up an account and receive transfers even though you haven't deposited.
Anyway, if there is an overwhelming preference for FT (it could be interesting because they can set up private tourneys as turbos) then I'm happy to do it there rather than on Stars.

Tai, switch Cocobill and myself. I now have a conference call at that exact time and may not be able to concentrate enough to be effective in a tourney with all of you sharks. I will stay as an alternate though (Put others ahead of me though) so the game can get played.

OK, I just sent out PMs to everybody who is on the confirmed list with the Stars tourney ID and password. If you didn't get one, let me know because I must have fucked up. Please register as soon as you can so we can tell the reserves if necessary.
Reserves, if we don't manage to get another table going, if possible could you please stay close to your PMs and log onto FTR chat a few minutes before the tourney as if there is a last minute no-show you might be able to play.

Hey Guys,
*waves at everyone that still knows me*
Even though I haven't been playing for a while (had a high project-workload, bought a new mac-notebook and was under the impression that pokerstars doesn't offer a mac client with real-money support) I'd love to join you guys again, can't hurt.
PS: Taipan, you suggested to create a second tourney if more players apply, what about a MTT with two tables? Wouldn't that be an alternative?

Unfortunately I can't make it to the SNG experiment as a meeting has been scheduled at the last minute. Gator, as the next on the reserve list can you make it?

I'm so unlucky today that out of the 20 tourneys played I only cashed in (and actually won) one.. And of course that is the satellite token tourney that I mistakenly entered..
