Man It was an interesting weekend for me. standard no limit tourney. 14 people in the game. 1500 of chips per person. blinds started at 10-20 and went up each time it went pass the dealer.

for most of the night the cards did not hit at all and if they did the flop killed me. about 1ish I'm down to 250 in chips and not sitting good. at the table if you're under 500 in chips you can rebuy 700 chips for 10 bucks in which i do. Immediatley after that I get dealt pocket kings the blinds 40/80 I raise to 300 hundred. two other people called. the flop goes 10c, 2D, 5sp, I bet 400 after that the next person calls, the other guy folds. the turn is a ten of diamonds. This is where I get a little nervous. I said hell with it and went all in. she calls. Man I'm thinking she has the other ten. river is 6 spades. we flip and she's holding ace 2. after that hand my fortunes turns out so much better. I play smart and play my blinds and win small pots here and there and get up quite a bit of chips

Later hands I'm dealt pocket aces, and pocket tens and win convincingly. at this time I won three staight pots. here's the next hand and let me what you think

I'm dealt pocket fives. blinds are 50/100 I raise to 300. 2 callers. the flop is king hearts, 10 diamonds, 6 spades. the guy in front of me bets 500, my turn and I'm thinking really hard. I folded the pocket fives. next guy calles. the turn is 5 of diamonds. I would have a set if I stayed in. question is what would you guys have done. Well the guy that wins bluffed going all in and wins this hand and the next two hand to double up so he and I are very close chipleaders.

next hand i get ace king suited hearts. He goes all in before the flop. the blinds are 200/400 everyone folds then it comes to my turn. I'm really nervous because If I call him and lose I'm out. I know ace king is a really good hand but I'm wonder what this guys has pocket kings? so after that I decide to call him so the pot is about 9500 in chips so whoever wins this will the commanding position for the rest of the night

the flops is jack c , 10 heart 7 spades

turn is an ace of diamonds, river is 4 diamonds

I flip first showing my ace king suited. he turns over Jack, 3 I could believe he went all in on that but he's notorious on trying going all in before the flop. I called him and knocked him out and eventually winning the whole thing!! Just wanted to share my expiernence. the thing I really want to stress on players is being patient. most of the night the cards were not hitting. I was getting a little impatient but kept my cool

First hand was a good lay down even though you would have made your set on the turn. There were 3 overcards to you pocket fives which means you could have been beat with as little as someone holding 62. You only had 2 outs so you had to respect the 1/2 pot bet.
Send lawyers, guns and money - the sh*t has hit the fan!

Good fold with the pocket 5's. Hindsight in holdem is always better than 20/20... Congrats on the tourny win.
