Default My first 4$/180 at stars - worst would be difficult

    Guys,

After reviewing my hand history of my first 4$/180 at starts last night, I think it would be difficult to do as bad ...

I'll show you my hands history (it's very short )
Do you think I could have done something different?
Was the limping of the first 2 hands OK?
Was my final push justified? Having an M less the 5 and the blinds in the next hands I thought I had to try it!

Your BB was 6. You pushed with k5.

I dont like it table appears to be loose wait till they pass.

Its better to do this from late position.

Yes its okay to limp with 99. lol (funny)

where is the body where u lost ur chips?

Everything look ok, nothing real terrible until your last hand. Why wuold you push all in with K5? Your only 5 hands into the sng and you still have plenty of chips left.

Well ... having an M of about 4 and a hand with a K, I thought I had to, otherwise on the next hand I'll have 800 chips and less fold equity.

From your comments, I believe I should have waiting for an A, a pair or a bigger K?

I think the K5 hand is fine - it's the difference between doubling up to 2k or doubling up to your existing stack.

I think you missed an opportunity in hand four.

Its folded round to the SB and he just completes. You have reasonable cards here. (K9 heads up). A 3xBB raise may move him off what he has. If not see the flop and you have position.

Its not much but sometimes if you're not getting big cards you have to manufacture something, and this looks like a chance.

K5 is not a good steal UTG. Wait to see what your cards are like when you have better position. You can afford to take the next BB and see whether you can steal from the SB, button or CO.

In hand #2 with 99 I'd probably have led on the flop with only one over (Q) and two opponents. Judging by the bet and the call, you probably wouldn't have won the hand with it, but I think it would have been a good chance to take.

I agree with above statement. During the course of one of these tournaments stealing blinds is essential and this looked like a great opportunity to try it.

hands like K-8-K-J (obv K-Q A-Q and K-A), Q-9-Q-J , suited connectors etc are all hands I like doing this with, small PP's obviously and A-x aswell.
