    Default KK, A flops again.

First hand I played. BTW in this tourney second hand dealt to me was AQo, I folded to the UTG raiser, standard? Anyway on with the KK hand. Turn call OK? Was leading the river the obvious play? I was obviously disappointed he didn't bet again.

tbone bets an ace most of the time in position here. Baby on the turns, so heshe takes a stab at it (presumably with a J). won't bet again when the K comes, though, so you have to lead

Absolutely. And I make it a fairly strong bet, too, around pot size.

    Seems like a checking party.
Always lead to see where you are standing.
As played, unless he is a Matt Damon, shove on the river.

    P.S.
    WTF??? *I'm* giving advice!

I checked twice, hoping to win a bet from a worse pair like a Jack (which a flop bet might scare away), and it sure did look like a Jack betting on the turn so I called. I was instantly annoyed at myself for not betting the river... but surely a weak A or J isn't calling a river push?

You are UTG. Previous street, he led.
Lead now. Bet twice what he bet. Let him think you are stealing the pot now.
If he has something, he'll call. If he's a maniac, he'll RRAI.
If he has nothing, no matter what you do, he's folding/ not calling.

Trick is, don't check so much, unless you know your opp is very aggressive/ maniacal and you are holding the nuts.
