Ok, so after goofing around with $1 games some lately I decided to give the BOP a go for big orbit - just want to see if I can grind out that kind of volume in a week. So, as you can tell from this hand, it's really really hard playing at this level.

It IS indeed. The variance hits a lot of the time. You got to get lucky. AK is rarely dominated but in multiway pots like this it value decreses significantly. Like in the 1st example it is only 33% favorite. Of course we get the best of it most of the time but again due to sick variance you've got to have a proper BR and strong nerves.

Yeah tai, you're right, technically I should've shoved pre - after the two shorties were in, I really didn't expect anyone else to go with 'em since 575 was so big a portion of their stacks at this point, so I got lazy and hit the "call any" option (yes I know, LAZY).

yeah, sliding that mouse 1 inch is so hard to do....

You should have raised preflop, and i have no doubt that in a $10 Sng you would have raised

Yeah, I wouldn't be trying to play 100 games/week at the $10 level, so I'd be taking my time, playing much more carefully.
