I hate playing big pots OOP with difficult hands to play post-flop. Am I missing out on value checking in these spots?

I'd 3-bet to $400/call a shove pre, as played, I like check-raising any board i'm happy to stack off on here, but really as played it's fine.

All hands are just less profitable out of the blinds, and JJ is certainly one of them.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

I would reraise and try to take it preflop

what would have been your line on a K/Q high flop ?

Most likely check/fold to a bigger than 1/2 psb, which is obviously losing plenty of value.

What do we do if we pop it to 300 PF, get a call and a K or Q comes out? Bet/fold?

From a CO open raise, I would 3-bet unless I had a read that CO was very tight even in position.

As played, it's fine, perhaps it's a leak of mine but I have a pathological aversion to giving free cards on a board which has draws.
